cate
I am very sorry for the loss of your cat, Woody. Cats are far more likely to get hit or killed by cars at night. If you don't want to keep your other cat in all the time, at least keep him in at night. In the winter this would mean from when it gets dark. Is he neutered? Being neutered stops them getting into so many fights and also stops them from looking for females. It doesn't however stop them from roaming. Please everyone, get your cats neutered. Cats don't need a sex life. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7562-tabby-cat-run-over-on-barry-road/page/2/#findComment-240169 Share on other sites
eater81
I think the cats would disagree with you on that one! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7562-tabby-cat-run-over-on-barry-road/page/2/#findComment-240180 Share on other sites

KateMontero
What do you mean laserlite? Is the subtext why are people making so much fuss? I cried on and off for 10 days when my much loved cat died and I'm a sane reasonably unsentimental human being. Respectfully, I'm not sure you understand. Either you don't have a pet or you've never lost a pet. It hurts a lot more than you think it will. katietatie
Pretty insensitive Lasterlite. Even if you don't share the same feelings as anyone who has contributed to this post, you should be at least able to detect how upset the family who have lost their cat are. bonniebird
I agree with Kate and Katie. losing a much loved pet, is one of the worse things I have been through :( Having had 2 of my dogs for 14 years and 2 more to the ripe old age of 15, its heartbreaking when you finally lose them. I was lucky that mine died of old age, but to have one run over :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7562-tabby-cat-run-over-on-barry-road/page/2/#findComment-241039 Share on other sites

Mick Mac
I'm not a cat fan, but there is no doubt this is a sad story and people should respect others losses. We have a local cat who sems to have adopted my children as friends, I'm trying not to get attached to the cat too, but its getting harder, he's winning me over.
