I thought I'd been promised that I would grow up to live in a rational and progressive society which would provide for the greatest good of the greatest number, with intelligent and decent allocation of resources allowing all who possibly could to fulfill their potential.


I'm absolutely certain that we were not going to start imperial wars or send young men to die pointlessly in Afghanistan (you know, what with Rudyard Kipling already having pointed out the gigantic stupidity of that one somewhat previously).


And we can't even manage a vegetarian restaurant in SE22. Hah.

Re. Co-op - don't want to get you all into a froth but in my mums little town of Spilsby, Lincolnshire have always been only two supermarkets, a Co-op and a newish and much better located Somerfield. I went back at the weekend to find that since Co op bought Somerfield they have sold on the quality Somerfield site to Sainsburys (now about to open there next month) and have kept their old site. This strategy would suggest that they are unlikely to keep both sites on Lordship Lane and may not even keep the best one either so I'm sticking with my bet that we'll get something different on one of those sites.

      Here’s a photo of what happens when I click on one of the pins. You can see which pin I chose and it’s under the category “sewer flooding”. if you don’t have access to the functionality of the interactive map, suggest checking your settings or calling TW. is that loud enough for those at the back?

      Just seen that a lease has been agreed for the Tile Giant site next to Toolstation at the Grove Tavern end of Lordship Lane. Does anyone have the inside scoop on who has taken the lease?

      The GM's in Dulwich has been gone for around 3 years, so the most recent post must be about the Crystal Palace branch, I presume the same staff moved over? I've been going to Tash at Kuki for a while, never had a problem.

      Say it again, those at the back didn't hear you 🤣 I've looked on the map on a PC, no legend, nothing comes up when you hover over or click on it.  We have had a leak on our road for 5 days, reported at least 10 times according to the map but it's still pouring down the road!
