bigbadwolf
There isn't one!!! Scotland, in my opinion, is getting far too casual in it's attitude towards London. If I were in charge I'd have the mcscoundrals back under the Parlimentary jack boot in no time. They make award winning Whisky though. Mick Mac
no point now the US public has boycotted its whisky in response to lockerbie release. The whisky was the best bit. Brendan
It?s a bit like England but colder and it doesn?t have as many wankers. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7682-scotland/#findComment-240877 Share on other sites
Jah Lush
Actually Brendan it's more like New Zealand but a lot nearer and without the sheep and whisky. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7682-scotland/#findComment-240879 Share on other sites
bigbadwolf
But they've got more gingers Brendan, and we all know they haven't got a soul. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7682-scotland/#findComment-240880 Share on other sites
Fear 'n boozin
I say give 'em independence so they can become the small, petty, backwards looking country they so desperatly want to be. I say that as a scot too. (And they have plenty of @#$%& too!) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7682-scotland/#findComment-240886 Share on other sites

bigbadwolf
I like your style F n B. Your abstract take on a nation trying to pull themselves out of the shitter is a refreshing representation for an Englishman such as myself. Jah Lush
Blimey Fear & Boozing I thought you were a Hampshire chappie seeing as you support Southampton and there is no trace of a sweaty accent. Keef
It would be a better place if they would just publicly hang Alex Salmond (and I am very very anti capital punishment, but for this guy I'd consider an exception). mockney piers
I quote like the place. I say that as someone about as scottish as FnB.This thing is so ridiculous, reminds me of the freedom fries thing. Especially as a)the sort of American who buys scotch is unlikely to give ashit about calls for a boycott (same ones who have doubtless been enjoying their scotch with an illegal cuban cigar) andb)he probably didn't do it anyway, any longterm reader of Private Eye knows there are a lot of unanswered questions that compassionate release rather than an appeal was designed to avoid. mockney piers
And likes mr salmond even less than keef. Than keef does I should say. Keef
Unless it's a special occasion.I want to visit Scotland, never been there, and would like to. Fear 'n boozin
maybe you could write about your experiences for Private Eye on second thoughs, the trip your planning seems more suited to Hustler. Fear 'n boozin
sounds like a good trip, can I come? We could do some in-depth research and report back, thus answering the OP with hard evidence and experience. Any chance of forum sponsorship? Keef
Good call!Deep fried Mars bar for you Keef.Marianne Faithfull style*? ;-)* just a myth according to her, and more importantly, Keef Richards. Jah Lush
Here's a good road trip for you guys. I'm a great admirer of Scottish literature and having read Iain Bank's Raw Spirit: In Search Of The Perfect Dram recently I'd quite like to replicate his road trip visiting the local distileries and trying out all that lovely Scotch. So Keef and Fear are you in? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7682-scotland/#findComment-240966 Share on other sites
