Louisa
Tea for me. Strong, dash of milk most of the day. Occasional coffee around eleven if it's milky and full of sugar. Louisa. ????
I'm (at least mentally) trying to get off Coffee and back on tea - but, as DC says, the booze is big hinderance for this plus a regular habit since I was 12 to break. But am enjoying my tea more so maybe can turn into Tony Benn yet :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/76881-tea-or-coffee-or-tea-and-coffee/#findComment-907543 Share on other sites

maxxi
Tea, tea and tea - coffee rarely. Yorkshire used to do a Kenyan (Sainsburys had it) but can't find it now, I like Birchalls and like a dabble with a black Lapsang and a milky Chai now and then but good strong builders is my pref. Like loose tea in a pot when I can be arsed (usually only Sunday morn): cup & saucer instead of mug, tea cosy, strainer, all the trimmings. Jah Lush
I was ready to reach for the heroin after playing a mere snippet of Dulwich Fox's Gracie Fields cat scraping down a blackboard screechings. I'm sure there must have been many a British Tommy during the second world war who hurled himself into German gunfire after being subjected to her tuneless warblings. As Spike Milligan was to note in his memoir Mussolini: His Part in My Downfall, "she's as funny as a steam roller going over a baby."Anyway, I'm more or less moribund before two large mugs of coffee with my cigarettes in the morning after rising from my pit. Tea is for the afternoon, preferably with a couple of Hobnobs.
