"That raises another question, no one on the starship (despite the sexual tension) sneaks off for a quick game of five fingers now do they... gawd imagine the smell if they did environmental controls wouldn't be able to handle it?"

What on earth did you think Picard got up to in his ready room? He wasn't chatting to other starfleet and allied commanders via web cam all the time you know Spartacus. He took many sessions of genlemanly relaxation in taking his number one to warp speed to make the bald fella cry.

Jesus, keep up.

What Jesus is on board now, and if he can't keep up does that prove warp speed is just impossible ?

I guess in the 22nd Century they have solved the 'cyber sex' issue... after all that is why they have invented the Holo-suite but ... and this is now in the realms of weirdness... if someone had sex with a female hologram, when the program ends doesn't it result in a sudden sticky mess hitting the floor from oh say yah height ... or is the computer clever enough to work out that 'mess' needs to be beamed out before it makes a mess ....

Oh confused and perplexed am I dear Wolfie

Well the admin on this forum seems more than capable of clearing up/editing/removing/banning any of the mess I make then I'm sure a computer capable of independent thought would see to rolling it's sleeves up to remove any "holo-jizz" you'd left behind.

I hope.

"Has anyone ever noticed that none of the crew of any Starfleet vessel ever went for a shit"

I am sure there was an episode where Captain Picard went to his ready room, with a newspaper tucked under his arm. He returned half and hour later and warned Ryker, "I'd give that five minutes if I were you". I cant remember the episode title, but it was in the second series.

Well I can?t remember a single episode that didn?t make some reference or other to the captain?s log.

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
