All the bits of london that aren't really london but pretend to be - Bromley & Sidcup (north kent), Croydon & Sutton (north surrey), whatever the south essex equivalents are etc...

And Dalston. Fairly certain there are no actual buildings, just traffic that finally gave up and died.

blimey ... is there anywhere in London you actually like ?

though I do agree Thornton Heath is a bit of shithole ! NEWHAM ... East Ham in particular . all the streets look identical .. good Dosa cafe near the station though . Plumstead is weird , the Common is interesting .

North London.... (said only to remind people from North London how stupid they sound when the say "there is nothing in South London worth visiting"...)

yes... I know it's the middle the night but I can't sleep..... aahhhhh

Since then Peckham has completed its arrival, Forest Hill is now something first-time buyers can only dream of and I'm told Deptford is pretty happening now. Haven't been to see for myself, obviously.

I would say that the South Bank is now no longer worth visiting unless you love crowds and eating overpriced food standing up.

Disagree - fun for grown ups, fun for kids, such dense cultural content too (NT, BFI, Royal Phil, Meltdown), plus the freebies like Martin Creed's musical lift in Festival Hall for the kids, the terrace bar on the 4th floor for great uncrowded views etc etc And OK - eating isn't amazing, but the chains, given it's a tourist area, are pretty decent.

Do give it a go.
    • Greens have some mad polices and I am still trying to work out if it is true that the leader of the party thought he could hypnotize women to have larger breasts 🤷‍♂️ country is in a real state at the min and all party’s have a part to play in that. what the future holds who knows but it is worrying.
    • A stellar win for the Greens in Gorton and Denton, no doubt. But by-elections are funny beasts. Labour's strength traditionally has been in its ground game. Legions of canvassers over many years in many seats usually means that they are best placed to 'get out the vote' on election day. I can't quite believe that the Greens have enough data, or people, to wrest control of the council from Labour.
