dulwichmum
Eliza dear,I live in Alleyn Road. Alleyn Park is far too close to Kingsdale for my tastes. SeanMacGabhann
I wonder if the noise some people complain about IN ED isn't air traffic, but a different kind of whooshing sound Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8855-child-abuse-irelands-catholic-shame/page/10/#findComment-277726 Share on other sites

Narnia
I was sorry to see that the cathedral in my home town was burnt to a shell in the early hours of yesterday. It was probably the only building on note in the town and goes back to 1840.The Guards are investigating the cause. It will be intersting to find out if it was arson.Edited to add the strange case of the bishop saying the last mass there referred in his sermon to a convent which was burned down in 1642! Was it a case of the bishop in the cathedral with the matches? (played Cluedo last night) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8855-child-abuse-irelands-catholic-shame/page/10/#findComment-279648 Share on other sites

Mick Mac
That was the good Lord trying to help you be unsuccessful in your sinful act....but you were determined, and for that...please say 45 rosaries, at least.
