Is it true? cafe trio to close forever this Sunday

could someone please confirm or clarify the situation with cafe trio in Peckham, that it's closing its door this Sunday. Finally found a cafe that understands the milk, coffee ratio, the machine is calibrated correctly to create an almost perfect coffee. If the rumour is true it's very sad!

It's definitely true, the owner confirmed it by email today. Very sad as I was a big fan. Really great staff.

This is really sad: this place has been a life-line to me since moving to the area with a 10 month old baby.

is there anything we can do to support the owners to keep it open?

I'm really surprised as every time I go there (2 or 3 times a week), it's mobbed. My daughter loves it and we will be really sad to lose it. What has happened? Are they thinking of relocating and is there anything that could be done to keep it open?

A few businesses have been successfully crowdfunded in Peckham and Camberwell, and if a rent shortfall is the problem, I wonder if there might be a crowd funding solution?

But it's strange there's nothing on their website, Twitter or Facebook pages if they're closing so soon. Was it a sudden decision?

Yes, but was it mobbed by people spending money, or people buying one coffee and getting 2 hours of child entertainment out of it?

I think mainly breakfast or lunch, but also coffee and cake in the afternoons. Don't think many would stay for 2hrs, but maybe 1hr or so?

Guys, it might not be closing for financial reasons. Sometimes these things happen for personal reasons like when Lucas closed and countless other places locally.

Has anyone actually spoken to the proprietors?
