Was recently reminded of "Chasing Rainbows" by Shed Seven. LOVED it back in the 90s as an 18 year old. Hadn't heard it for years and years, listened to it last week and have fallen in love with it again.

Also listened to the whole Diary of a Madman album by Ozzy for the first time since I was about 15, and thoroughly enjoyed that, could of really really good tracks on there.

Not a song, but the other day I heard part of a classical concert on tv where the orchestra were playing music from the film The Mission. Reminded me of all the other stuff by Ennio Morricone I love. Yesterday by chance I was using the Underground which I rarely need to, and saw a poster of him. He is conducting his own music at the O2 on the 14th at the grand old age of 87.

Well I've learnt something today. I know that song because Guns n' Roses used to play part of it live before going in to Knocking on Heaven's Door. I then found out that Alice Cooper had done it. I never realised it was a cover.

Knockin on Heavens Door, for me, is the antithesis of this thread. I was a teenage GnR fan when it came out (and didn't know the original at the time) and I loved it.

In hindsight... the song is utter shit.

    • So important to give them the best chance. You can buy bells on Amazon I’ve bought the cheap collars on amazon and find they fray quickly and aren’t great quality. The bells don’t really make a noise either. I’ve also bought a posh one from Pets Couture and it’s absolutely beautiful, got a proper bell and still looks like new after nearly a whole year! Definitely worth the money
    • I completely agree. A cat with a bell comes into my garden and sits patiently beneath the bird feeders. Sometimes I hear the bell first and can chase him out before he gets there, and hopefully birds can also hear the bell (but only when he's actually moving). This has got worse since prickly rambling rose stems were removed from fences at the back of the garden. I'm looking at what cat deterrents I can put there. You have probably done this already, but if not you might want to look at ways you can try to stop the cats getting into your garden  in the first place? It's very difficult. I love both cats and birds, but  as you say, cats will be cats.
    • Know of one in Devon expecting pups towards end of year. PM me

She’s only 8 months old and not used to going far/going out on the road.  Please look out for her in the Barry Road/Upland Road area, and message or call if you think you’ve seen her - 07758 300 621.  Thank you! 🙏🏻
