No water

Is anyone else experiencing problems with water?

I live just off Denmark Hill and have no water whatsoever!

Have you called Thames Water? I rang and they said they had no other complaints in the Copleston Road area?

They have said they will send someone out in the next 8 hours to investigate.

Hello - got through and they said that they had to carry out an 'emergency shutdown' in the area at about 12:30pm and they are hoping to get the supply up and running soon. The worse case scenario is that it won't come on untill about 6:30pm

Don't know if you are reading this site/thread, but big thanks to the team fixing the Dunstans Road leak the other night, working really late and it must have been freezing. Good on you.

I agree... but, Dunstans Road water has gone off again........... today.

Our water has just gone off in St Aidan's Road. When I say "gone off" I mean it's on incredibly low pressure.

Just filling some pans/jugs/kettles etc so I have at least water to drink, and the pressure seems back up to normal now in St Aidan's. Can anyone else try and let me know? I will probably get on the phone to Thames Water anyway as I'm due to give birth any day and at the moment the birthing pool is empty!

avondale rise off bellenden road has just gone off completely. Thames water say that they have switched off the water main on Colyton Road, south side of peckham rye park and it may up to 6 hours until it's fixed. Quicker than that I hope, my thermostat is saying it's down to 15 degrees in my house already! ps avondale rise is closed to traffic as it's an icerink and has had 2 p13 buses blocking it since 6.30 this morning.

Just spoke to thames water. Emergency repairs at colytom road have left 12 roads without water including me on peckham rye.It will be back on by 7 at latest apparently. Off to the cafe it is!

Just back from holiday to find no water on Dunstans Grove. If anyone has any updates I'd be most grateful; all of my neighbours are away so not sure the extent of the problem.
