Just a moan. Why is it that so many people are incapable of parking without hitting the car behind. You are not meant to nudge the car and then roll forward a bit. This is not a legitimate parking technique. I can't keep replacing my number plate.

Happens all the time to me. Considered CCTV in front of house previously, but am rarely able to park directly outside my house in my space now so would be a waste of money.

Once spoke to someone who'd parked their 4x4 on my front bumper and they didn't seem to understand why I considered it a problem. Moved it forward, but grudgingly and without apology. Infuriating.

May I suggest rah that you consider overnight flexible cushioning around the plate edges to cushion any unwanted attention from other drivers. Not sure if it's legal but I've considered it myself before. The problem is we have more cars and fewer spaces and people will literally try and cram an estate into a space barely big enough for a smart car.

I guess this is the problem with the parking issue here, as every man estimates his as 12 inches and tells his lady such, but in reality it's 6 or less, so when he then tries to park a car his depth perception says he has 12 inches between bumpers but it's really only 6 between, he then drives those 12 inches and bang there's the fender blender (as the yanks say)
