Most bizarrely..

I did hallucinate once that I had turf all over my body, well maybe a light "mossing" would be more accurate

Though I (luckily )did resist throwing my verdant scrotum under a mower that time

Brighton ehh, what a place ( if you seek chemical enhancement, that is )

W**F

Yes I'd report it to admin, but whatever the subject of OP's thread, I think its important posters on that

thread should know.

If someone is upset by a PM sent to then which they feel was abusive or threatening shouldnt other posters be

given a chance to offer support.

I would imagine most posters don't know who each other are and there are some that do (forum drinks), and may know one another quite well.

Roll Deep mentions this "Most people on here don't know what the other looks like so there's not much chance of having your nose bloodied over piffling comments made online whilst you're out 'n' about in the real world."

If someone felt intimidated by someone, who they can see by the forums drink thread, attends these night out,

and only told admin of the PM, the invite to members on this forum to meet up in the real world, would not seem so inviting,

This is not only about ????s and Sniffy, when people know one another I think its slightly diffrent,

but for people who don't. it could be scary.

Hi Mockney,

I shall not respond directly to your 'poor show' comment.

Sometimes some folk just don't see eye to eye, that's all really.

As you rightly point out i am a newbie.

However, i am also fully aware as to how forums work.

I do reserve the right to defend myself however.

Hopefully this won't be necessary in future.

I intend to be very nice to all.

I can assure you of that.

    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
    • That is also a Young's pub, like The Cherry Tree. However fantastic the menu looks, you might want to ask exactly who will cook the food on the day, and how. Also, if  there is Christmas pudding on the menu, you might want to ask how that will be cooked, and whether it will look and/or taste anything like the Christmas puddings you have had in the past.
