*Bob*
I liked 74 as well (not my final choice, I should say) although the jowls looks a little heavy, the chin a little pointy, and the eyes possibly a little too far apart. Other than that.. nice, nice.. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/991-pick-a-rose/#findComment-25205 Share on other sites

Fear 'n boozin
do you suppose the judges had hit the Guiness a tad to hard when they made their decisions? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/991-pick-a-rose/#findComment-25240 Share on other sites

Dannyboy
'Judges consider many different attributes of the Rose including, in the words of William Mulchinock?s song The Rose of Tralee, an indefinable quality that captures ?the truth in her eyes?. The Rose of Tralee International Festival celebrates modern young women in terms of their aspirations, ambitions, intellect, social responsibility and Irish heritage.'I don't know what truth is in 1985's eyes, but it's a dark, disturbing one. Asset
'85 is DM's sister of course.'88 looks like she's on one.To be sure, they are all lovely. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/991-pick-a-rose/#findComment-25286 Share on other sites
dulwichmum
OHMYGOD!!!I must apologise, my sister was a Rose, but she didn't win. I lied. The only reason I am now coming clean is because 1985's rose does not have as much facial hair as my sister... jim_the_chin
i'm with mockney - 1962 for that glimmer in the eye.wh's your 2007 pick then? without any bias i'm going for London. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/991-pick-a-rose/#findComment-25300 Share on other sites
Dannyboy
Definitely not London. Personally I'd go for Limerick Rose, but bearing in mind past winners, Florida Rose should probably shade it. More importantly, it looks like they're still picking male Escorts to accompany the Rose (surely they could have found a better word?). Obviously we need to arrange a Dulwich entrant. Anyone feel suitably qualified? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/991-pick-a-rose/#findComment-25306 Share on other sites
