It's not that culturally entrenched in the UK but when I was in SF last year, more than once I was the only one without one...Second thing that made me think again was having work give me a laptop. Good ales (Harvey's, Brakspear and guest, porters and Belgians in bottle), it's done the place up with no gastro pretensions, just a lick of paint, a carpet clean and a smile.Those who lament the passing of real pubs in ED might want to check it out as it's a boozer of the old CAMRA school.
