  1. From where on Gaia's Earth was Nelson's Column ever a valid Mornington Crescent move? Explain - or I'm going straight to MC!
  2. By early April I meant the Forum Drinks on the 3rd - are you coming? Baby, please?!
  3. Apologies for not recognising that a whole series of excellent moves had been made on the 2nd page of the thread so I thought I was responding to Sidue's expedition out to Pinner with my Queensbury move. That 2 repeating letter rule on double digit dates doesn't apply on Mothers' and Fathers' days (I looked it up) so I'm safe. Phew. But I'll have to retreat to: Aldgate Obviously.
  4. Double digit dates (i.e. 22nd) need stations with 2 repeated letters, so well done with PiNNer. This must continue until someone moves to a legal station on the you-know-what line. I propose: QuEEnsbury
  5. Blimey - Piccadilly Circus????? Very daring. Particularly with the Spectrum Convention in play. But legal nonetheless. I propose: Kensal Green (weak I know - but so much for Brendan's prediction for Game Over in 2 moves)!
  6. It could have been possible but he (or she, or it) restarted the dreadful and pointless Song Game. HB - you are dead to me now. Unless you convince me otherwise in early April........ D (bloody laptops in the dark)!
  7. Burnt Oak. Of couse moving to a station that is itself the name of a colour means the Spectrum Convention is now in force - be careful now - that's a tricky one!
  8. Clever - try this: Blackfriars!! Colour rule an option now clearly!
  9. I could have ended the game after Camberwell Green which is just not Mornington Crescent! However, since some interesting strategies are evolving I'll let it run. Previous move needs me to find an appropriate dog-related one: er Houn'd'slow?
  10. understood why threads like "The Song Game" are so popular.
  11. It's been a while since the last game so I propose a new round. To keep it simple for beginners, no "weird" rules to be invoked until after the 5th post. Oxford Circus.

There's a fantastic new machine at my gym. I was only on it for half an hour until I started feeling a bit sick. But it does EVERYTHING! Doritos, Kit-Kats, Coke....
  15. Sorry - last message wasn't meant to be as curt as it came across! Sorry. David
  16. I'm agree Loz, these people murder trust.
  17. 17 Nov 2006> I've only been once and would never go back. It was dreadful! I still haven't!
  18. Rather than attaching this onto the end of every post where someone feels annoyed by the state of things, I thought I'd leave it here and let people look if they're interested. http://www.dosomethingaboutit.org.uk/ Launched just yesterday but already getting coverage in the national press (see the "Newsfeed" link).
