Ha, I do hope not!

Just for the record before it gets pointed out to me, I an aware that one of the ladies in the original post had an appointment to get to, so fair enough. I also think the behaviour of the driver, if as the OP describes it, was bang out of order whether they were old, visually impaired, or young and healthy!

Moos, all completely fair points. I know It's a bit unreasonable of me, and I certainly know that when you're given an appointment you are basically stuck with it. I guess I just can't get why they'd want to be on the bus at that time. As you say, I think I'd much rather wait a bit for a more relaxing journey.

Well we just spent the entire weekend recording a 6 track demo, which is still to be mixed. This was our number one priority, but we will be getting a couple of rehearsals in before the 12th, and the guys all seem keen to do at least one cheesey christmas classic!

I am going to be shot down in flames for this, but I hate old people using the bus before 9am! If they have a medical appointment fine, but if not, can't they just wait for a bit til after rush hour to go on a little bus ride!!! Before anyone starts, I am not agist, and I have nothing against the elderly, it's just a little gripe of mine.

I have recently started watching Weeds (careful, lots of spoilers), an American Showtime production about a mother of 2 who is widowed, and starts selling weed to sort her finances out. I have never watched Desperate Housewives, but would say this seems to be in that ilk, suburban town, people with money, but right from the theme tune at the very beginning (some of you will know it), you realise that it's having a go at all that. It's in bite sized half hour episodes, which is a bit annoying, you're just getting in to it, and the end credits are rolling! However, it means you can easily fit 2 or 3 in to a session. I'm currently half way through series 2, and am really enjoying it. Not exactly sure why, it's not challenging, but it has some great characters, and it's fun.

It's nowhere near hearne hill station. It's a nice little gym and good value. No pool though!

I was going to search for this thread today, as last night Mrs Keef and I both enjoyed Amazing Grace, a film about William Wilberforce and the campaigne against the slave trade. Good cast of actors, and an interesting watch. Wikipedia

People need to remember there are different parts of Brockley. Some of it is lovely with huge houses that haven't been turned in to flats. Had lots of school friends there, and was always rather jealous of their area, being an East Dulwich boy.

Expense? That's exactly the problem, It's all down to bloody money. I'm just old fashioned I guess, but international football should be the very peak for players and clubs. Clubs outside the top 4 still seem proud to have an international player in their ranks, and that is how it should be! I'll bow to your knowledge over Gerrard's op, but I thought the whole arguement was around the timing?

I've always liked "fugly". It was used a lot in Summer Heights High, the Australian comedy, before that I'd never heard it in "the main stream". My friend and I use the word Fackered for very tired.

To be honest, I can see Capello's point, as he felt Gerrard could of had that op in the summer, but instead he started the season then had the op during an international break. I do think he friendlies are a bit naff, but at the same time, he needs to build a team, and I for one love international footie, and want to see the team do well. I've said it before, but if they want less fixtures, get rid of some of the pointless european games, or don't have such a long break between the group and knock out stages, so it's more spread out.

Sad I never made it for a final drink over the weekend, although to be honest, I'd said my goodbyes, and the best days of the place finished a while ago. Will be missed, but I think my wallet and my health will be in a better condition without it! Back to house parties after hours!!!

Sean's getting muddled up there, it won't prompt you to add a description when adding a photo, you just put the web address in the prompt box that comes up when you press the mountain/sun button, click OK, and it shall add the code to your post. Then just carry on typing under it. If you want to link to another site, you click the globe/paperclip button, paste the web address in to the prompt box, click ok, then another prompt box will appear asking you to add a description, for example "Click Here". When you post, you'll get a blue "Click Here" linking to the site. I think I've just confused myself :-S
