There have been no shortage of flats whilst we've been looking! I have no idea if we're getting a bargain or not, I think we are, and there is a similar flat in the same block (not battle ships by the way) still on the market for over ?30k more than we're paying, so that won't sell!

I like the audio guide things, because usually I can't see to read the tiny little print on the tiny little plaque saying what something is. However, I do agree that it's less social, and you end up in your own little world. Whilst we're on this subject, getting stuck behind a school party at an exhibition!!!!! I think perhaps ED prices will drop more because they seemed especially high. Doesn't seem to make SUCH a huge difference up in Forest Hill / Sydenham. As I said, if you're planning on being someonewhere for 5-10+ years, then I don't see the point in worrying too much. However, we're inm a situation where really our mortgage is going to be exactly the same whatever happens (complicated scheme) so doesn't make a huge difference. Plus, if all goes to plan, by xmas I will have the most amazing uninterrupted views of London, and very very good leg muscles from walking up an insane hill! :-S

When we used to do it, it was at the girls school the other side of peckham rye, it was good, but started getting harder to book courts. That and the fact we got a bit lazy. I'd like to give it another go sometime.
