  1. Absolutely agree. Perhaps we should arrange it with them in advance.
  2. Just got back from the cafe, worked for me!
  3. I can't listen to jazz for a night!

    Petty Annoyances

You're not alone, always hurts my wrist by the end of a song! Even worse on bass!
  5. Cheers, will check it out from home later. Disks not ejecting though, just not reading!

Man City 3 Stoke City 0 Tottenham 2 Bolton 0 (they HAVE to start winning!) Wigan 2 Aston Villa 1 West Ham 2 Arsenal 2 (which Arsenal will turn up?) Portsmouth 2 Fulham 1
  7. Sorry, putting this post on 2 threads to get responses. Has anyone had trouble getting gamecube games to work on Wii? Keep putting different disks in, and it just won't read them! Very annoying, as I have loads of Gamecube games I want to revisit / start!!! Could just set the gamecube up again, but that's beside the point! :X

  9. I love Metroid Prime on the Gamecube! Got to the final battle (not actually tried it yet), but need to go back and finish it off... Bought the sequel for GC, which I have never even started. Much as I want the Wii one, I have this stupid thing where I don't feel I can start a new game until I have finished the previous one :-S
  10. St John, and St Clement's when it was on Northcross Road, 1982or3 - 1989 then Aske's 1989 - 1996. John Skinner the music teacher at Aske's was a great guy, did a lot for us, and put in a ridiculous amount of hours!
  11. Sting ball was wicked!
  12. I've always been very very lucky in that sense, but I fear that could be changing!
  13. Ours was religious studies.
  14. Over 21s my arse! I remember when The Venue was Over 25s. I chuckled as a pilled up 14 year old! >:D
  15. Fair point, and I do hope the Plough doesn't lose votes based on food. It's a fecking pub!!! And the staff they have are usually very nice, just could do with a few more! Still, I may stick with the good old CP of T, as my heart belongs there.
  16. Imagine I'll be along, haven't been to Hoopers since last forum drinks there!!! Nice pub, just a bit far for me.
  17. God at this rate everyone will get a prize! How about best East Dulwich based covers band? ;-) Like the idea of best bar person, and with all my old crew gone, Rueben is getting my vote. Will be interesting this year, my usual vote of CPT, will probably be changed, would have been Plough, but Mag has made a late surge just at the same time the service at The Plough seems to have gone a bit tits up...
  18. Trains to HO every 10 mins, and takes no more than 15 mins (I get it every day to Sydenham)

Irish people who think that because they're Irish they have some special gift for drinking. Total load of shite.
  20. Tillermun, it was definitely BUNDLE! in my school yard.
  21. Had the gamecube one. Kind of fun, but really simple gameplay!
  22. Fire in the sky - Ozzy
  23. I was always disturbed when girls in Home and Away would describe a good looking chap as a spunk!
  24. For the record it doesn't really work that well, so there.
