S/he needs to speak to their union if they are part of one. Other than that, it looks like they're buggered to be honest.

Seems so Falcao... Be careful, they're watching!!! -
Yeah my diary lists both Friday and Monday as public/bank holidays. Still, I do think you're pretty hard done by there.

Indeed, and I should point out that The CPT is not known as a local drug den!

Snotalot. Actually, if I don't shake this cold that is actually going to be true.

Sneak in to their flat and lay mouse traps all over the place. That'll soon stop him rinning around :)-D

I managed to totally oversleep, then come in to work having forgotten my inhaler (which I realised after having a very rare morning ciggie), so had to go begging around the office. Am now breathing once more, and will stick to my normal routine of no smoking til the evening in future!

We usually wait til after closing to break out the drugs :)-D

I do know that their chef was leaving or has left, so maybe they haven't found a new one yet... The manager did say to me that once the previous chef had handed in their notice, they were just taking the p!ss because they obviously couldn't be bothered any more! It's a real shame, because they really are making an effore to make the place work. -
Great minds! And yeas, congrats on the bike test!

Er, did you go to the toilet before getting out of bed? :-S

I've only just caught up on this thread and all the capital punishment stuff. Don't mean to start it all again, but just to add my opinion. Whatever a person does, I don't think it is the right of any other person to take their life. No one should have to sign that paper, no one should have to administer that injection, and for those who would gladly do these things, no one should have that power! Some people can't be rehabilitated, that is clear, but I can't bring myself to agree with killing even the most evil person. That said, I think I would rather be killed than have to endure solitary confinement for years, that would be the worst kind of torture! Piers, your point about America / Religion is a good one, but a lot of them tend to be in to the real fire and brimstone angry old testament God, eye for an eye and all that. JC "turn the other cheek" was just a big hippy (there is a great book called Sacred Mushroom and the cross" which actually argues that they were off it the whole time), and he ended up getting strung up quite literally. :-S

G&B will be pleased! -
Speed 3 was my favourite episode, especially when Ted and the Bishop come up with a plan and drive along on the back of a lorry next to the milk float giving Dougal a blessing. Back on topic, I also enjoyed Cigarettes and Alcohol and Rollerblading

I really must have been having a bit of a Daily Mail day when I wrote that, and definitely didn't know the guy's age. I really hope that when he is sentenced, he receives some help, rather than just being banged up for years, and at the mercy of prison justice. I heard a thing on Radio 4 a while back where a self confessed paedophile told how he was happily married and had a daughter, then one day they were baby sitting for someone, and when he saw the other child naked, he found himself feeling titilated. Just imagine how horrified and scared you'd feel if you experienced those urges! The guy in question was confronted by his wife after their daughter had told her that her dad had touched her. He came clean, and sought help, and they were trying to rebuild their relationship, but he said he didn't feel safe being with his daughter alone. After hearing this, I really did think about what that must be like. I mean sure, there are some nasty sick people out there, and some are just plain evil, but I guess we can't exactly help certain urges, and where the hell would you go to seek help if you started having urges like that? It's not the sort of thing you sit down and discuss with your GP! Anyway, sorry, not really ED related, but thought I'd just add it. -

Today I got to work at 11:45, and got away with it. I quite surprised I made it at all.

I remember my parents taking me up to Liverpool (in 96). We got to my room and dumped my stuff and then walked over to the union. I was sitting in a queue of very nervous looking fellow threshers when my dad barges in and tells me in a loud excited voice that I can get a pint of guinness and a curry for about ?3 (I had to get my bad habits from somewhere). When it was time for them to go, I walked them to the car and said my goodbyes. My mum wouldn't let me stand and wave them off, she insisted that I just walk away (before she broke down in to floods of tears). I remember turning and walking towards my new block of halls, and feeling very very scared. I got to my room and put some music on, and within 5 minutes I had a knock on the door and met my new neighbours. We headed to the bar, and so it all began! Good times! (except for the girlfriend who I was with from the end of threshers week, all the way through uni... Oh the missed chances!).

This really puts me off a place. I tried the burger kitchen once when it first opened, and the sound just made me feel naucious... That and the fact it was a crap burger.
