I'd say Golden City has probably been shut 15 - 20 years... I could be wrong, but don't remember it being open when I was a teenager, only when I was a kid.

Threads like this will always move on to a class issue, and then perhaps a race one, and it really isn't the point. As an aside, I have noticed that quite often it's the people that regularly say "why does it always come down to class", that seem to be the ones who bring it up :-S I never quite know where to stand on these things, because I'm not obsessed with labelling myself and others.

I hate Ken!!!!! I disagree with Sean that the buses have improved greatly too. Can't really comment about buses in to central London, but the buses I get are just as bad as ever! Boris is a bit of a knob, but I loved it when he played in that charity football match and decided to rugby tackle someone! Gold >:D<

I must admit I usually smoke Marlboro Lights these days. I do like Reds, but they don't like my chest (yeah yeah, I know asthma and smoke....) :-S Totally agree with Jah about fags like B&H!

Even if they fined them a load of money, I very much doubt they'd then use it to benefit the ED community (if that's what you meant?). I personally disagree that it should be used on the area anyway. If Southwark were to fine them, then Southwark should use any money they get on the things that most need sorting....

I'm sure we will. Dulwich park have some cr@ppy nets, but they're better than nout!

Pretty much Bob. Although most of it's current regulars are 20-30 somethings (although regulars range from 20 - 80+), it's never going to be trendy! I for one am pleased about that, but you're never going to pick up chicks in there, so Fear n' Boozin (stud that he is) likes to venture out ;-)

I started smoking Marlboro Reds when I was about 13 because I saw Ozzy Osbourne smoking them in an interview. I honestly wish I had never started, but I did so there you go. And yes, I am cool as f**k! ;-)
