May I suggest At Glasto it's p***ing down with rain.... but no one's yet feeling the strain of sopping wet clothes and soggy Marlboros And the fools will all go back again!
To be fair to Lily, if she feels strongly about this, she has a right to bring it up again, particularly as she witnessed a second "incident"..... Personally, I think you're over reacting Lily, but there you go.
Just to clarify, I've not changed my opinion about the plans for the building, I say go ahead. I just think a few less pupils indide it would be better.
Now I think about the numbers it does seen rather a lot. is it going to have 6th form? If not, you're talking 5 year groups with 190 each, which I guess would mean 6 classes of 30 to 32 in each year... To be honest that does seem a bit much. My school had around 90 to 120 per year, and that seemed plenty at the time! 650 seems a better number.
Just as a side thought.... Would Horniman's not have dug up anything that might have been valuable years ago???? I hope they don't dig too much up... It's a nice bit of land which could do with a rethink... If Lewisham want to spend some money on it, why don't they either make the paddling pool safe again, or replace it with some other watery fun for the kids like in Wells Park (just up the road). I have real fond memories of sunny days at the paddling pool with my friends when I was a kid, it could be such a nice place... These days it just looks depressing :(
Whoa, now lets not start on Catford's Cat!!!! ;-) Seriously, I know it's tacky, but always got quite excited about it as a kid going past on the 185 :))
Just back to the original game.... The naked drunk Elvis dancing man was great!!! You'd see him dancing in one window, and his girlfriend / wife / whore leaning over a table sniffing something in the other window!
I love Nintendo, and have always gone for them above other consoles, but could never really get in to hand helds... Possibly because the screens a bit small for my rubbish eyesight :-S
