  1. Why not try one of these things? Might sort your cat and dog problems out as well! http://i34.tinypic.com/bftxl.jpg
  2. Go easy on him fellas, he's having a hard time of it.
  3. Solid advise Jah, its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Its all spilt milk now. You're welcome DPF
  4. But 20 seconds barely gives you time to explain how "its not you, its me", I think you should allocate 1 minute of phone message per year that you dated.
  5. See, thats why I always end relationships by fax, it has the emotion of a letter coupled with the detatchment of the text. It just seems to work. Voicemail is another good way but just check that you can leave more than a 20sec message at one time or else you keep having to call back, which becomes tedious.
  6. We could all turn up with our partners and act overly happy.
  7. Pay an escort to pretend to be your new girlfriend for the next couple of weekends and she'll soon come crawling back.
  8. Makes quite a lot of difference if you are going to set fire to your neighbour's house.
  9. Do you live in a terraced or detatched house?
  10. Thats a relief I thought another fox had died.
  11. They've still got the big screen up, when I walked past last night it was showing re-runs of Changing Rooms. There seemed to be quite a rowdy crowd watching and the air was blue with heckles such as, " Llewelyn Bowen you fackin muppet, a hundred thaasand paand a year for that rubbish, you're 'avin a turkish son" and chants about how, "Anna Ryder Richardson takes it up the arse".. It wasn't pleasant and I quickly sheperded my children away from the window.
  12. I think the Plough will begin to make more of an effort to show the Rugby, no chance of them putting on Football though.
  13. She would have but there was a slightly cheaper one in Bromley, and you could park right next to it.
  14. Eh? None of them were aimed at you, and they were two seperate posts. The first comes from once living in a flat that had rats, and the second was a weak joke about gangs and street slang. I repeat, none of the comments were either directed at, or disparaging of, you. Just be big enough to admit you've had a few diva moments on this thread and we can all go home.
  15. I haven't got a beef with you, infact you insulted me 3 times before I even remotely directed a post at you. Read through the thread again and tell me who has been slinging the vitriol about.
  16. Whilst people from Peckham can follow the hunt on their stolen mountain bikes, we would prefer it they kept a reasonable distance away.
  17. I had no idea where the quote came from but will edit the post in accordance to board protocol.
  18. Well, I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out. If only I had a sad story involving me and a dying animal, maybe then people would like me, sniff. (Edit 16:30 - I admit I plagiarised a Bill Hicks quote. It was a wrong thing to do)
  19. Well, literally thousands have pm'd me complaining about sanctimonious posters who want to be told how wonderful they are whilst indiscriminately poisoning local wildlife. I actually do feel sorry for the fox cub, I like foxes, but the reality is that this thread is more about eliciting sympathy for yourself. Its not like you were the one trapped under the decking is it.
  20. Thats nice but I'm on holiday from Friday.
  21. Why don't you just poison it?
  22. "When they dig up dens at the beginning of a hunt and find cubs, or a pregnant vixen, do you know what the standard practice is?" You actually don't seem to know anything about the subject Michael. In the situation I described the hunt will not kill the cubs or the pregnant vixen, they will leave them alone, the reason being that they do not want to deprive themselves of their future sport. This is clearly not the action of people who are interested in culling the fox population. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a bleeding heart animal lover and have no problem with the rural fox population being controlled. I've also seen first hand what a fox will do if it gets into a chicken coup, but that has absolutely nothing to do with fox hunting. Likewise, I've seen the harm that fox hunts do to people's land, and its more than cosmetic damage to fences.
  23. Err Michael, I can "out-countryside" most people on this forum. I however come from a poor rural area where the Fox Hunts were despised for the damage they caused to small-holdings, and the arrogance of the participants. Have you ever seen the damage a pack of 40 dogs and 20 horses will do to a small farm? Regardless of this, anyone who says fox hunting is about population control is either lying, or insane. When they dig up dens at the beginning of a hunt and find cubs, or a pregnant vixen, do you know what the standard practice is?
  24. Like you by the sound of it if you honestly believe "The Hunt" is an effective way of controlling the rural fox population. Fox Hunting was nothing more than neo-feudalism in rural areas and most people were pleased to see the back of it.
