  1. Maybe get family to take them overnight once in a while if you can too. It makes a massive difference!
  2. ???? - Why are you being rude to Peckhmgatecrasher? Or are you just trying to have a go at everyone cos you're pissed off at Brendan?
  3. It may be lack of sleep making you a bit run down after the new edition to you family! I always neglected anything that was not entirely necessary after having a new baby, and slept whenever I got a chance!
  4. You have an informer!
  5. I hit a car yesterday on my bike. I was swerving through the traffic as usual, got past one car and went to cut through to the left hand side and the car in front just stopped (the lights turned to red!!) so I didn't judge the space quite right. My right shoulder slammed into the back of the car but car and bike didn't actually make contact, so I just looked like a bit of a tw@t and had to oppologise profusely to the woman in the car that I'd hit. Oh and my shoulder is KILLING me!! Might stop swerving through traffic as my relexes appear to be slowing down with age!!
  6. Well it's all Greek to me.
  7. It didn't come up with anything when I googled it so i reckon u made it up!
  8. My daughter was facinated by the naked cyclists and protesters we saw as we walked past a little park bit by Marble Arch!!
  9. You have the right to use reasonable force to protect yourself, others or your property against an attacker, so unlikely to get nicked for hitting a would-be robber round the face with a brolly. It's just something people like to winge about but in reality you would have to go over the top and seriously beat the crap out of someone trying to get away from you before you would get nicked.
  10. I never knew Turkish cypriots were a race.
  11. "Maybe they'll all start stealing chickens from the likes of Chav's back yard and the govt will have to bring in new laws to stop people stealing chickens from people's back yards..... Those laws would seem to be in place already..." And 2 big dogs (well one big one and one medium sized one)!
  12. Mike P - I thought ED baths was allocated ?5 million of the ?12m total money for all Southwark leisure centres, not ?2m. Have they changed it?
  13. I can't wait to bump into these little b!tches. I wish they would try to mug me but then I'm not a little kid so they probably wouldn't bother. I wonder if they are the same ones that did the muggings a few months back.
  14. Sh!t, that sounds horrible. Hope it's not as bad as it seems.
  15. Peckhamboy - I didn't say the charges are illegal, I said the banks have no legal right to levy punitive charges, they can only recover the money they have lost. That is what the legal argument is about. The banks have to prove that they lose ?30 - ?50 (or whatever they charge) in administrative and other costs, when you go overdrawn, bounce a cheque, fail to have funds to cover a payment etc. They are unlikely to be able to prove this as it costs them nowhere near that amount, so the court may have to decide what is a fair charge. Anything they charge extra to their costs is a punitive charge and is not legally allowed.
  16. Haha, nah I am an EDF singleton virgin. I have a couple of booty calls I've known for a while on standby for when I get desperate, but they are not EDFers, so don't worry I'm not a greedy person, share and share alike and all that!
  17. I like eating, but I usually rope someone else into cooking.
  18. I live in one of the few council properties and I am definatley part of the dark undercurrant, Rhubarb and blueberries.
  19. haha no only 'later daaling' pater haters
  20. haha. laddy daddy?
  21. I only used my breadmaker twice and left it gathering dust on top of my cupboard for a year and a half, until it got rescued by a more caring owner! I also had an espresso maker my bother gave me that was used about twice too, and gathered even more dust until I palmed it off on my mate. It produced lukewarm brown water for me, but she may have been more lucky! I'm not a fan of kitchen toys cos I hate being in the kitchen!
  22. That's too nice!
  23. But it's a hidden charge, it's not free banking. By law the banks are only allowed to recover their costs that occur when cheques bounce, etc, and that has been estimated as a few pounds at most. They are not allowed by law to demand punitive fees from their customers. They have been stealing the money with no legal basis for years, and using the money they extort to offer free banking to everyone else.
  24. I want a name for the annoying dad's that push their bratty sprogs about. Not all dad's. The ones who know about designer kids clothes and acccessorize their trendy tots to match their own designer wear. All I could think of was faddy daddy, but I'm sure you lot could do better.
