Can anyone else hear loud music in ED tonight. Is there a festival going on.

I agree that is the best way forward. They need to know that this type of anti social behavior isn't on. You will be doing them a great good if they get caught at this age they could decide not to do anything again.
-
Well they should behave themselves and leave people alone

Exactly I like to get value for my money. And we can all shop and spend our cash where we feel goods are at a price point that suits our pockets. No judgement on anyone.

Wood Vale residents! Can you help find Idgy?

Lol I don't have a grudge. Just common sense

I went to shop there once. It was ridiculously expensive so I declined to pay and left without any fruit or veg. I believe in choice and supporting hard working local businesses. But I also believe in not being ripped off.

Avoid Tessa Jowlett at all costs. The GPs are great if you see one. Which I have once. But they seem to be overwhelmed with too many patients registered and no staff to deal with the need. The website ask my GP doesn't work most the of the time. The phones are not being answered and pressing 1 never gets you a call back. Which is a shame as some staff do try their very best to help you but the system is just so overloaded and it seems like a recipe to force everyone to go private. Such a shame as the building is very well designed. Just not functional. Always call 111. Is my advice now.

LOL it is much easier to raid a bin 😜 😜 😜

I think foxes have been around us for as long as the difference now is they do not stay away and hidden until night. They are no longer as timid as they once were. Apparently during a research project there is a clear difference in brain sizes of rural and urban foxes. Rural foxes having the larger brains. 🦊🦊🦊

Bags (ROKA & Longchamp) stolen from Landcroft Road
Happyme5 replied to quadragen's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen
Gosh I am sorry to hear about this. Do you mind if I ask what area you live in. As we need to be on the look out for strange activities. And it isn't your fault for not locking a window. We always blame ourselves for things. When it is actually not our fault it is the bloody nasty thieves who are to blame. Not you or anyone else. X -
Brilliant news. It isn't something you should have had to do. But I am delighted that the neighbour now realises that they can't stonewall (soz) you on the issues. And I totally agree that their surveyor sounds a bit dodge. So you and your legal team will have to keep on top of them. Brilliant job. 👍🤞👍🤞👍🤞

The situation is totally ridiculous. The councils are using monies raised by PCN fines to bump up their funds. I wonder what the monies is actually spent on. Maybe agency cover and consultancy fees. The monies are not going to repair and maintain the roads. Bill and ben the flower pot men haven't eaten the cash. Just another taxation and cause of stress for living in London.

The very best advice. People often use aggressive behaviour to hide their wrong doing. A solicitors letter will give them a little reminder of what is right.
-
Good luck and look after you and your families future. X let us know what happens if you can.

Sounds like your neighbour is trying to bully you into to be compliant and stay quiet. You really don't have any choice but to contact Southwark regarding building alteration planning permission. But also try to find your own surveyor asap. It might cost you now. But if you don't it could well really get expensive and cause issues with any potential selling in the future. Don't feel bad about standing up for yourself and your future.....

Moped crash scams around Barry Road/Underhill/Goodrich
Happyme5 replied to Katie B a's topic in Roads & Transport
Hi Katie, firstly I am sorry to hear about the incident and I glad that you were not hurt at all. I did see a car and 2 mopeds one a deliveroo driver on Crystal Palace Rd a little while back. One moped was on the ground and the other moped driver the deliveroo one appeared to be filming/photographing. I didn't see any sign of anyone being injured. It does sound like it could have been scammers. It was early evening. Thank you warning us and Thank you to KS and Ian for the information. Maybe people could report these incidents to appropriate ministers. -

That is horrific. I can't even believe that this a thing. Really what planet do these so called humans live on... It actually says that the little fluff balls will be gassed. It should be illegal. At least one person took the time to read the letter. I am shocked.

Memsaab raided by Immigration Enforcement.

Immigration vans used to arrive occasionally very early in the morning on the estate where I lived in Peckham. Before people would be awake. So I suppose arriving at a restaurant at 6.00 pm on a Saturday evening would make sense if they had real concerns regarding people smuggling. As that is often what is going on. The owners would face a huge fine if they are found to be involved in such a crime. Note I said IF. As we clearly do not know ATM
