Anyone Lost A Black Long Hair Male Kitten?
Happyme5 replied to Elsa F's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen

Blinking horrible. If you where a really anxious person it could cause you to be worried. I did see on the forum a while ago that some kids were smashing people's street doors intentionally causing damage and breaking glass panels etc. Someone said it was a tik tok thing. That fact that you never saw them sounds like it could well have been kids very quick on their feet.

The only other place I know of is Morrisons in Peckham.

Moped crash scams around Barry Road/Underhill/Goodrich

Someone who knows about this scandalous professional scam. Posted a link previously that mentioned a fact that this nasty crime which it is has been noted in by MPs or such. I think if we had the energy we could find the post on this forum. The shame of it is a registered car owner is so open to being a victim of this unlawful scam. And insurance companies just keep on allowing the scams to profit. The easiest way would be for the insurance companies to stand their ground and not payout in on scam claims. That would put an end to it. What a radical idea. For multi national corporate companies to stand up and beat the scammers. Holding to their accountabilities. Or are these companies happy to continue to rob the car owner. And launder our cash. Using the letter of the law I did not intent to sound like a person who indulges in conspiracy type theories. But maybe insurance companies are allowing fraudulent claims as a means of cashing in. -

Gosh it really is outrageous. Can imagine how blinking frustrating this must have been. Best idea to get dash cams. -
It is too scary. It sounds like this woman has no good intentions. This seems to be a planned attempt to snatch a child. Well done to you for following your instinctive swift reaction which kept your child safe. I hope that you are able to enjoy being out and about and thank you for finding the courage to share this with others. I am sure that sharing will help to protect others. Bless you and stay safe.

Does anyone know why the police are in situ. They have been for a good few hours?

Can anyone else hear loud music in ED tonight. Is there a festival going on.

I agree that is the best way forward. They need to know that this type of anti social behavior isn't on. You will be doing them a great good if they get caught at this age they could decide not to do anything again.
-
Well they should behave themselves and leave people alone

Exactly I like to get value for my money. And we can all shop and spend our cash where we feel goods are at a price point that suits our pockets. No judgement on anyone.

Lol I don't have a grudge. Just common sense

I went to shop there once. It was ridiculously expensive so I declined to pay and left without any fruit or veg. I believe in choice and supporting hard working local businesses. But I also believe in not being ripped off.

Avoid Tessa Jowlett at all costs. The GPs are great if you see one. Which I have once. But they seem to be overwhelmed with too many patients registered and no staff to deal with the need. The website ask my GP doesn't work most the of the time. The phones are not being answered and pressing 1 never gets you a call back. Which is a shame as some staff do try their very best to help you but the system is just so overloaded and it seems like a recipe to force everyone to go private. Such a shame as the building is very well designed. Just not functional. Always call 111. Is my advice now.

LOL it is much easier to raid a bin 😜 😜 😜

I think foxes have been around us for as long as the difference now is they do not stay away and hidden until night. They are no longer as timid as they once were. Apparently during a research project there is a clear difference in brain sizes of rural and urban foxes. Rural foxes having the larger brains. 🦊🦊🦊

Bags (ROKA & Longchamp) stolen from Landcroft Road
Happyme5 replied to quadragen's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen
Gosh I am sorry to hear about this. Do you mind if I ask what area you live in. As we need to be on the look out for strange activities. And it isn't your fault for not locking a window. We always blame ourselves for things. When it is actually not our fault it is the bloody nasty thieves who are to blame. Not you or anyone else. X -
Brilliant news. It isn't something you should have had to do. But I am delighted that the neighbour now realises that they can't stonewall (soz) you on the issues. And I totally agree that their surveyor sounds a bit dodge. So you and your legal team will have to keep on top of them. Brilliant job. 👍🤞👍🤞👍🤞

The situation is totally ridiculous. The councils are using monies raised by PCN fines to bump up their funds. I wonder what the monies is actually spent on. Maybe agency cover and consultancy fees. The monies are not going to repair and maintain the roads. Bill and ben the flower pot men haven't eaten the cash. Just another taxation and cause of stress for living in London.

The very best advice. People often use aggressive behaviour to hide their wrong doing. A solicitors letter will give them a little reminder of what is right.

Good luck and look after you and your families future. X let us know what happens if you can.
