  1. a young bunk in Hackers (1996)
  2. another hammer, cooooool. We should all go to watch them at Crystal Palace next season.
  3. I can't see how one award achieves anything. We've already had 2 forum awards (bar and curry house), and plenty of people have suggested more. "The Bestest Ever" award is meaningless surely, it's all about context people.
  4. not for me, it says something about not authenticating me, then goes to the home page.
  5. and to totally undermine my argument...some stats: name.............posts/day ------------.......---------------------- sean..............10.87 keef...............10.79 honaloochieB..10.17 brendan.........9.21 piers..............8.42 jah lush.........8.02 PGC...............7.06 *bob*...........5.01 ????.............3.18 batdog...........0.60
  6. That WAS a good episode!!
  7. ah cmon *Bob*, I was just joshing with you. plus, like, i'm only 8 posts a day to your 5 ;-)
  8. You mean after the Harry-decapitated-at-point-blank-with-shotgun...oh no, look he's fine cliffhanger of yesteryear? It is all a bit flash gordon isn't it. I bought series 1 on DVD a bit ago, and the main difference is that there were more than 5 people in MI5 apparently back then. It is great entertainment, but the daft quotient has gone through the roof. And I'm sorry, but the final episode was one very long run down a corridor to stop [add bad thing happening here]. Bad thing could have been my hamster dying or the sky falling in; the fact that it was a really big bad thing didn't stop the endless corridor from being a bit dull frankly.
  9. You only need to ask 'OutOfFocus' once and you're image is safely censored forevermore.
  10. I'm sure she will, she just fancied a bit of a post-apocalyptic knee-trembler is all.
  11. Genius!!! Mind you, unravel this sentence much hands on far time your too
  12. Best alternative health care provider? They're well used even if some of us remain sceptical.
  13. well, it's more football than it is film probably. Anyhooo, Redknapp after Green (the goalie, not the street) and Upson, apart from Collins our only two good players at the moment. Without them we are a Championship outfit through and through.
  14. Good work chaps. Looking forward to it.
  15. Did anyonje wathc Green St last nght btw? What a very silly film, and what on earth was going on with Charlie Hunnan's accent, cor blimey apples and pairs daaaaalink, roight my luvver. All over the shop; it was worse than Dick Van Dyke's!!
  16. "Willing suspension of disbelief, willing suspension of disbelief sir." Yeah I know, although I'm a bit willing suspension of disbeliefed out after the last series of Spooks which was ludicrous even by their generous measure. And yeah, only pulling your leg there Asset, and agree about that scene, it was almost like it was giving them something to do. I think it would have been much better if it had been a classic middle england couple a la Hyacinth Bucket, armed with scones and a cheery demeanour, admiring the state of curtains. That would have been far creepier.
  17. I'm actually rather enjoying it even if it is absolutely ridden with holes and clich?s. It's rather fun and even gripping. Yep, Max is definitely the reason you avoid dark alleys isn't he!!
  18. still liking her little utopia? Mind you, it's got an xbox, I might be torn between my inherent loathing of fascist regimes and my desire to play Call of Duty. Of course, I'm guessing the likelihood of a decent online team-deathmatch are much reduced, there are days I can't find anyone playing Project Gotham at all in a world of 6 billion, leave alone 6 million. The last time the population was that size incidentally, is around the end of the ice-age, so it's remarkable how many people they seem to bump into and jut how territorial everyone seems to be when the entire population of the UK is now roughly that of Letchworth!!
  19. of course.. we could... just stop having them?? Revolutionary thinking. We could rethink it a bit, organise events rather than regular piss-ups. Let's face it I see half of you down most pubs all the time, and Keef's Plough night is always a success for a regular beer + music. We could be a bit more adventurous rather than argue once a month whether it'll be the Mag or the Gowlett AGAIN, and can anyone be persuaded to come to the CAstle. Ok ok, I'll shut-up, just saying...might not have been so stupid an idea...been going to them for almost 2 years now, let's face it!!
  20. Oriwisu Spot EDT CPT FHT Montpellier Plough Bar Story The Castle Magnolia Gowlett Wishing Well Hoopers Any away days? Perhaps extraordinary saturday or sunday afternoon meets? Borough, Forest Hill, Honor Oak, some lovely ones up in Greenwich, boat trip and everyfink etc edited 1 time(s), a bit earlier, by me
  21. It's not he wasn't good enough, he was just entirely the wrong man for the post. At least now he'll be able to speak to his players and give a press conference!!
  22. Oi!!! Yes, was there [the phoenix, not safrica] recently and had a most pleasant afternoon. It's the plough's sister pub so it's not going to go too far wrong (though the food's meh tbh)
  23. HAHAHAHAH, that's genius!!
