Should be able to reel in a nice cod fillet or two.

Treasury (the Treasury Solicitor)." So, either he retired a very rich man or the Bank of England was successfully nationalised.

Your information is only 66 years out of date, so at least you are improving. http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/about/Documents/legislation/1946act.pdf
  10. It probably won't stop the b**stards, but there is a facebook group to try and stop them publishing leaks about the show. http://www.facebook.com/groups/323972054357236/
  11. Great steaming cockup at security today. Seems they decided to randomly change the rules overnight without telling anyone. Loads of people travel in from all sorts of place and stay overnight and were forced to dump all their toiletries, etc at security. Anyway, they have decided to implement the airport liquids policy, so be warned. Security theatre, of course - it might work on a plane, but entirely useless in a place like the Olympics, for what should be obvious reasons. Why can't we ever get security right in this country?
  12. Yep - it's them "loud church goers".
  13. "The main concentrations of nitrogen dioxide are around busy roads, and there are 48 schools in Southwark within 150m of busy roads." We're in central London. I find it difficult to believe that close to 100% of schools are not within 150m of a busy road. Apart from the first point, which would be best solved by banning parents from driving their kids to school (but that would, of course, go down like the proverbial lead balloon), none of the other ideas I don't believe would actually meet the goal of protecting people from pollution.
  14. Are you still at Dagenham? We've been at the stadium for weeks now. We has an all-dayer today. I am completely cream-crackered. Back tomorrow morning as well. And was there Friday night. But, only 27 days to go...!
  15. You could move to the Outer Hebrides. Or otherwise just accept that, in a city of 8m people, there may be some noise.

  17. I don't think they do. It looks like they glue all their rubbish to the wall.
  18. Shop lifter gets caught. Not sure that is such bad result.

  20. We all have codes assigned to our roles and I don't want to give anything away. I reckon it's pretty damn amazing that, in the days of social media, 10,000 people have managed to keep the show secret so far. We were only told about our segment, but you get to chat to other members of the cast and I think I've managed to piece most of the show together. It will be awesome!
  21. 49.98% of statistics are made up on the spot by moronic trolls
  22. Yep - I'm an WMW (sorry everyone else, but it's all hush-hush still). What's your bib code, Jab? Ladygooner - a little tip... sit in the upper stands. If you sit in the ground level seats you can't really see the whole show.
  23. What? No clowns?
