Dangerous driving - Harvester Junction - Needs reporting

There was a consultation and as a result it was definitely agreed that a crossing would be installed there. There is a thread on here about it a while back. -
Abusive people in Dulwich Park just now

So there we are. If true. ?400m given to shareholders. Not in total. Just last year. Apparently. 😡 This is where Royal Mail's priorities now lie. I'm guessing the quality of service random checks they used to do across different areas (and published) were at some point quietly dropped 😡 https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-10455479/Trio-senior-bosses-leave-Royal-Mail-Christmas-woe.html

Yes. Amazing what happens when name, age, address and any other personal information which could lead to unfair discrimination is removed from applications and CVs before the people making the recruitment decisions see them.

There was supposed to be a pedestrian crossing installed at this junction by now. Does anybody know what has happened re that? -
How would they know the parcel was "unexpected"? That seems a bit strange!

In fact I think we already have Sandyman, the issues with ED are solely to do with DELIVERY within ED There are no problems with items POSTED here to be delivered outside the area. Different offices are involved, as outlined elsewhere in this thread.

Higher up, yes. > Who on here has blamed the people delivering the post? Everybody has expressed sympathy with the posties as far as I can see! It is quite clearly management who is to blame, at various levels.

Putting the blame on postal > workers/offices locally is unfair. Have you actually read the rest of this thread, Alec1? Before the delivery office moved to Peckham, there might have been the occasional item "lost in the post". That is a completely different thing from a situation where enormous amounts of incoming post have been piled up in a known place for months.

All my prescription medication has been delivered by Royal Mail within a day or two after Lloyds Direct (previously Echo) have processed it. As has anything Covid test related. I assumed Royal Mail was giving such items priority. Where are your prescription medicines coming from, ribrob?

This place has an advice line. I don't know if it advises individuals, but if not it may be able to point your friend in the direction of somewhere who does? https://www.equalityadvisoryservice.com/ Alternatively, apart from ACAS, the Citizens Advice Bureau would probably be able to help? Oh sorry, I see you already mentioned that.

It was not the fact that underwear was being worn as outerwear. It was not obvious that it was underwear - not to me, anyway. It was what was pictured on it. I can't describe it, or I would probably get banned as well 🙄 -

Why have you started a duplicate thread in this section? And do I really have to spell out to you why some of your items for sale were inappropriate? A particular picture on what if I recall correctly was a vest or tee shirt, for example? I do not feel I want to describe it, but if anybody else saw it before it was removed they will know what I mean. It wasn't exactly something you could wear in a public place, put it like that .... -

Three separate deliveries today! 1. A second hand book I've already had a refund on from eBay because it didn't arrive - somewhat annoying because now in all fairness I have to let the seller know, and refund the refund, as it were. 2. A packet of fabric samples posted a few weeks back. 3. A Christmas card (no date on it), a Private Eye dated 10 - 17 December and a financial statement dated 14 January. Since I took out the Private Eye subscription in November, this is only the second one I've got. The free Christmas cards that went with the subscription arrived last week (very usefully timed, not). Royal Mail seems to be delivering a totally random assortment of stuff, but at least some of what is arriving is from January! I am still waiting for some things which I know were posted in November/December.

Some of the items you listed for sale on here were not appropriate for a local community forum, and were removed by admin, if memory serves. Is it possible that the items you listed on Facebook's marketplace were considered similarly inappropriate? I don't know anything about how Facebook works, but could it be that your account was terminated for similar reasons? It may be too late now to recover that account, but maybe you could sign up to Facebook using a new account? (and every time you post on there, ask yourself "is this acceptable?") I am sorry you have been going through a hard time, and I hope things improve for you soon. -

I am getting a total mixture of mail. One second class item posted only a few days ago. One posted end of November (hospital letter, luckily feedback after the appointment and not notification of the date). Those two arrived at the same time 🙄 Still waiting for several items including financial post, books despatched weeks ago, and things intended for Christmas presents 😡 And of course no idea of what I should have got which I don't know has been sent, grammar.
