  1. I recently read Riddley Walker. Seems to me that's where we are heading 😶

Does it still work with just the nose? I assumed they were totally different tests. I can do the throat but I hate doing it (well, I don't suppose anybody likes doing it!)
  4. Well, this is cheery ....

  6. I'm a bit confused. First the tests were throat and nose swabs. Then they were just nose (hooray!) Now they seem to have gone back to to throat and nose (boo). Are they just using up old stock, or what?

  11. You could let the bank know?

Why on earth would you take the time and travel costs to go to Vauxhall to buy your fruit and veg wholesale? Where do you think greengrocers (and most other shops) get their stock from if not from a wholesale source? And why shouldn't shops make a profit? They aren't charities, plus they are providing a service which people want. I don't shop in Bora because I get an Oddbox plus I have an allotment, but I like to know it's there, and their displays are fantastic!

Years ago some estate agents were calling it "East Dulwich Village". When I bought my (small, terraced) house it was described as an "artisan's cottage" 🤣🤣🤣

  17. Amazing 😮 Years ago I heard a terrible noise in my garden and it was a bird of prey catching (and carrying off) a starling. I used to get loads of starlings in my garden, and I haven't seen a single one since then 😭
  18. My post seems to have gone back to normal. Things are arriving within a couple of days of being posted, and Private Eye was on time. Also I am no longer receiving items posted weeks/months ago. Fingers crossed they have cleared the backlog and now have enough staff to deliver current post. I hope I am not tempting fate by posting (no pun intended) this.
  19. It's a bit odd that this isn't common knowledge among all vets, given the original post? Hope all your dogs recover quickly.
  20. I just used wwww.iloveimg.com which was very quick and easy and automatically compressed my photo to the correct size for the ED Forum without my having to put the required size in. If you had more than one photo to attach to one post, you would need to use another website though, as the photos would need to be compressed to a smaller size (but you could always attach one photo to each of the following posts) I couldn't find the website I used to use :(
  21. Great to hear some good news!
  22. According to the Zoe app, there are nearly 20,000 active cases in Southwark, which is up by over 3,000 from last week.
