I'd have thought a "professional musician" was somebody who made their living from playing music, but what would I know :))

I agree, that was the way I read it as well, that that was to be the name of the place - "Something Wonderful" or words to that effect.

I've just looked over our running orders and the only band I can think it might have been from your description was a local band from five years ago who to the best of my knowledge no longer exist :)

I hope you aren't talking about the music at the Dulwich Festival Fair on Goose Green? We take pride in booking good musicians.

I agree it's a great magazine for kids. Rendel, you could ask the girl's parent/s for suggestions? Otherwise you could duplicate something she has already been given?

Has Duck Egg closed? It's name is no longer above the front, and it hasn't seemed to be open during its usual opening hours lately. If so, does anybody know what is replacing it? There is a For Sale sign up, but I'm not sure if that is for the shop or whatever is above it.

Hydrangeas don't need acid soil. They just have different colour flowers depending on the soil type, so far as I know. ETA: http://www.bhg.com/gardening/trees-shrubs-vines/shrubs/how-to-get-blue-hydrangeas/

No, in fact I thought it had been quieter than usual!

intexasatthe moment Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Isn't clay alkaline ? > Interesting, because I'd always thought clay was acid but I've just looked it up and usually it isn't. Now I'm confused, because Dulwich Park for example has rhododendrons and azaleas, and I know other places round here which have camellias growing straight into the soil, and to the best of my knowledge all of those need acid soil. My brain hurts now :))

Too much information about what happens to drones 😀

There is currently no clear scientific evidence that glyphosate is harmful when used in the sort of amounts and concentrations that are used in horticulture/agriculture. So far as I am aware, that is why it is not banned.

Well, others do, and it was a relevant comment. If all you've got to do is gratuitously insult others on here, don't you think it's you who needs to get a life?

So do I, but "greatest"is not a word I would apply to anything relating to Lewis.

The super powerful version is exorbitantly expensive 😀
