  1. Surely if this is true (and it seems bonkers to me) and this professional body doesn't already know about it, then they can't be very professional? Who are they, and what are they supposed to be there for? I would have thought other reasons for the short supply of some medication were more plausible, but what would I know? Surely pharmacists themselves have some kind of professional responsibility to supply prescribed medication where it is actually available?
  2. Superdrug? The one in Forest Hill does, anyway!
  3. Supermarkets don't sell as great a variety of veg as Bora though?
  4. Sorry, question already answered as OP edited post above.
  5. Sorry to hear this, but which cat is missing? There are two in the picture! Where is it missing from? When did it go missing? Give us some clues! There are lots of cats roaming the streets in East Dulwich! Also, maybe you could delete two of the pictures, as they all seem to be the same? I hope you find it soon!
  6. I have just always assumed that anything in this shop would be extraordinarily expensive, which is why I have never been in there. I just admire the beautiful displays as I walk past, and marvel at all the different varieties of fruit and veg never seen elsewhere in East Dulwich. Not quite sure where I'm going with this post, except to say you have two chances not to spend more than you expected: the first when you see the price stated on the display, the second when you go to pay and are told what you have to pay. Two chances to think/say: I'm not paying that. And walk away. Or pay it and regret it and then post about it on here ..... ETA: Hadn't seen the post above, as I was writing this one
  7. 🤣🤣😥
  8. Just visited my daughter, got a fantastic strong mug of tea and yes, it was Clipper. I'm now a convert!
  9. Have you asked your provider to check what is happening?
  10. Thanks I will try, but am put off Twinings by their terrible (in my opinion) herbal teas 🤣
  11. Yes, Inside 72 was great, so were all the little rooms in the Blue Mountain. The Drum used to be open after hours, you had to get in round the back. But crikey it was smoky 🤣
  12. Too long a saga to post on here, and water long ago under the bridge. I didn't complain. I didn't find out it was the wrong hospital department until long afterwards, so I had unnecessary investigations. I didn't want to take the antibiotics but I was desperate.
  13. Many cafes? I only remember two in North Cross Road at any one time when the greengrocers was there? The Blue Mountain was one of them, then Rose opened one at the back of her shop. There was a bar, The Drum, are you thinking of that?

  15. She was a year or so back. I have no idea if she still is, or whether she also teaches elsewhere.
  16. To the best of my knowledge Trish at the baths in Crystal Palace Road does one to one lessons. I've only had group lessons with her, but she is an excellent teacher and improved my swimming enormously. She teaches complete beginners and nervous swimmers as well.
  17. 😂 As I posted on another thread, apparently trees can appear perfectly healthy but be diseased at the roots.
  18. My partner just bought me some breakfast tea bags from Fortnums for my birthday (not my only present obvs!) as he happened to be passing 😂 Though it says on the box it's a blend, but also says it's pure Assam, so that's a bit confusing!
  19. Oh no! I had high hopes for Barry's after reading the posts above!
  20. Thanks all, I will check out all your suggestions. I like strong tea so I will try Barry's and Thompson's first (never previously heard of either of them!). Glad they are available reasonably nearby! I thought something had gone wrong with my taste buds when suddenly PG Tips tasted of nothing, but googling found a load of similarly affected and disgruntled people. It was very disconcerting, as I had used them for years!
  21. I recently went to a party at the Coplestone Centre in Coplestone Road. It has a nice hall with a small kitchen and is easy to get to.
  22. I don't remember, but whoever she was she gave me two lots of unnecessary antibiotics and referred me back to the wrong hospital department 🙄
  23. Yes. Thanks. I keep the teabag in the mug!
  24. Is there anywhere, preferably local, I can get strong tea bags? Both ordinary and decaf? Since PG Tips changed to something approximating very weak dishwater, I am struggling to find anything where I don't think I might as well not be bothering to put a teabag in at all 🙄 I know M&S do "strong" bags but I wasn't all that impressed with them either 🙄
