  1. I use Orange. Haven't had any problems today. However sadly I don't have an iPhone :))
  2. OliviaDee Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > putting quilt covers on. > > xxxxxxx Lay the empty cover flat on the bed, with the opening at the bottom. Push the quilt into it, shoving the two top corners of the quilt towards the two top corners of the cover. Make sure the quilt is not twisted. Hold one top corner in each hand, with the cover and the quilt both held firmly. Shake. Adjust the bottom corners. Close the bottom opening. Simples :) Well, works for me anyway .....

  5. :))

Erm, why do you think women have breasts? ETA: Many moons ago, I was discreetly breastfeeding my daughter in my car, and a bloke walked by, hissed "disgusting" at me, and carried on. What's that all about?

Twice, two > different houses near me. xxxxxxx I have also called them out and they sorted the noise. Don't know why you think it's a racket Jimmy TT - it's the noise which is the racket :))
  9. I live in this road and have never heard it, and I don't sleep that soundly. If I did hear it at that time of night, I'd be straight on to Southwark Noise Control :-$
  10. If this wasn't a one-off, is there any reason you didn't report it? It's just likely to continue otherwise. What part of the road was it coming from, the North Cross Road end or the Whateley Road end? Southwark Noise Control's number is 020 7525 5777

  13. Yeh true but sometimes it's a trade-off between saving a bit of money and saving a bit of time :)
  14. I also really love them. At one point in the Winter I had two sleeping side by side in my (very small) garden, it was really sweet watching them from the kitchen window :) They were quite young, and I assume they were siblings.
  15. The people at Simply Switch are very helpful (and I have found other similar companies also helpful in the past :) You can phone them on 0800 011 1395 So far as I'm concerned, provided my monthly direct debits go down I don't care how they are working it out - you can either do a comparison on actual useage or on your monthly charge. Yes it does seem like you have to keep changing your supplier - I wasn't that bothered when I was earning more, but now I'm not I am :))
  16. That's a good point (though I think web saver 9 is cheaper?) but so far as I know British Gas doesn't have a fixed tariff, and prices are predicted to be rising - may be wrong though :)

  18. Maybe the other fireworks at the celebration were quiet ones :)
  19. How did he get access to the machines? Did he get jobs at all the garages??
  20. Here's the link to the moneysaving expert page in question - which has an explanation and various links including the one mentioned above :) http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/you-switch-gas-electricity
  21. Just a heads-up. Don't know (obviously) if this will happen but energy prices are predicted to be due to rise soon. If you go via the moneysavingexpert website you can follow a link to SimplySwitch where you can get ?35 worth of Amazon or John Lewis vouchers for changing suppliers via them (they don't charge you anything). These vouchers are only available from SimplySwitch if you go via the moneysavingexpert link. I changed to British Gas last October, which was at that time the cheapest option for me, but I'm now changing to an Eon tariff which is a fixed rate to October 2011 and is saving me ?75 a year even if prices don't go up. There's a ?30 cancellation fee if I leave before that date (which I'd only do if there was a better saving to be had), but that's more than outweighed by the vouchers! There are other offers from other switching sites (eg a case of Virgin wine) but I had a look at them and the offers seemed more complicated to claim than this one, I couldn't be bothered. The Eon tariff is rumoured to be only on till the end of this week, so you'll need to be quick. There was a slightly cheaper option for me, but it had poor customer service ratings, so I didn't want to risk that one. I was with Eon before I changed to British Gas, so I know they're OK. Hope this is helpful.

However if your need is urgent and your preferred doctor is not working that day, then obviously you will need to see someone else :)
