How did he get access to the machines? Did he get jobs at all the garages??

Here's the link to the moneysaving expert page in question - which has an explanation and various links including the one mentioned above :) http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/you-switch-gas-electricity

Just a heads-up. Don't know (obviously) if this will happen but energy prices are predicted to be due to rise soon. If you go via the moneysavingexpert website you can follow a link to SimplySwitch where you can get ?35 worth of Amazon or John Lewis vouchers for changing suppliers via them (they don't charge you anything). These vouchers are only available from SimplySwitch if you go via the moneysavingexpert link. I changed to British Gas last October, which was at that time the cheapest option for me, but I'm now changing to an Eon tariff which is a fixed rate to October 2011 and is saving me ?75 a year even if prices don't go up. There's a ?30 cancellation fee if I leave before that date (which I'd only do if there was a better saving to be had), but that's more than outweighed by the vouchers! There are other offers from other switching sites (eg a case of Virgin wine) but I had a look at them and the offers seemed more complicated to claim than this one, I couldn't be bothered. The Eon tariff is rumoured to be only on till the end of this week, so you'll need to be quick. There was a slightly cheaper option for me, but it had poor customer service ratings, so I didn't want to risk that one. I was with Eon before I changed to British Gas, so I know they're OK. Hope this is helpful.

However if your need is urgent and your preferred doctor is not working that day, then obviously you will need to see someone else :) -

The Mind shop in ED sells stuff from places like Primark, and most of what they have on display is neither designer nor exceptional - in my opinion anyway :)

That's good news, but what were the grounds of your appeal? Seems a bit random if they have upheld your appeal but are fining others?
-
I get loads of sparrows in my garden, counted about fifteen at one point over the winter - and it's a very very tiny garden. Never get any finches though! Maybe they have different stamping grounds in ED :) Quite weird though, a year or so back I had zillions of starlings on the birdfeeder, since a bird of prey got one in my garden they've all disappeared.

Oh no. I used to read a greatly missed (by me anyway) comic called Oink in the eighties (edited by pigs) and Frank and Little Frank were among the highlights ......

Seems a bit harsh to judge/stop using a whole shop because of the actions of one assistant. They're volunteers, anyway, aren't they?

So next time you're ill, you'd like the GP to turn you out of their room bang on the time of the next person's appointment, regardless of whether the examination/investigation of your symptoms has finished? Yes? -
Oh please no, that's just round the corner from mine :-S

Well I thought it was a great idea. If a bit confusing when people started swapping them around after a few drinks :)) ETA: Katie, :))

I know some people didn't like doing it, but I preferred it when we wore sticky name labels - I have a terrible memory for names and faces and therefore can often appear rude when I don't recognise people :-$ Also easier perhaps for people going for the first time.
