  1. Am I imagining it, or was there not at one time a pub called the Gladstone round here?
  2. Blimey Reetpetite, don't think those are clothes moths :)) Ah - you mean ladybirds, don't you? I think all ladybirds bite, it's just that you don't usually notice ....
  3. I vote for The Actress :))
  4. The moths are teeny-tiny, easy not to notice. But it's not the adult moths which do the munching, I think :-S

They're eating my cushions. They're eating my wallhangings. All my lovely things I brought back from Rajasthan, they're munching bit by bit. I've only just noticed huge gaps where there used to be wool. How can I get a double bedspread size wallhanging into my (chest) freezer?!?!?!

I also think, if it's keeping you awake at night, send them back whatever you think is fair (though I'm sure they'll be absolutely gobsmacked as they probably don't even realise they could have got it cheaper), and next time sell on eBay at a "Buy It Now" price if you're not happy to benefit from an auction.

  20. Southwark Noise Control. And record each call you make, as they won't necessarily do that. Or, find out their landlord/housing association/whatever and try complaining via that route. Or, get other neighbours together and put in a joint complaint. The problem I had with extremely noisy neighbours was completely resolved after months and months of frustration, but maybe there were different issues. Several lots of neighbours got together and complained to the Housing Association. Not easy as we got fobbed off and passed around different departments, but it worked in the end. Good luck.
