  2. Weegee Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- the front of it looked quite > classy and un trashy like a typical Foxtons branch > would be xxxxxxx Are you serious? Edited to say: Hopefully not :))

  4. Lucky nobody wanted to buy it :))

  8. They'd probably also be classified as skinny :))
  9. FFS! I live in UR (aka Ulverscroft Road) off NCR (as we must now call it) and I walk down NCR every day. I just don't recognise this picture which is being painted. Who the f*** cares, anyway? We're all people, people. Get over it :)
  10. Yeh - definitely worth it :)) I thought that was going to be a scarey programme, but it wasn't, was it?? :)-D
  11. Think I'll stick to the Stella :)
  12. The scientific research guy on now sounds pissed out of his skull :))
  13. Yeh I spotted that - but they're in the Maudsley now - well Institute of Psychiatry anyway, Denmark Hill :))
  14. :))
  15. I've got my Stella all ready - in fact I'm half way down the first can - but I already know the answer so not sure I can be arsed watching it really :))

    Rug Talk

Stupid question I know, but presumably you have tried googling, er, "rugs" ?

    Normal People

Christ, who wants to be normal?? :-S
  18. Thanks people - b***** squirrels! Thanks for the blue tit clip, but really, ungrateful little sods - they have a peanut feeder constantly topped up, a fatball feeder ditto, they did (pre squirrel attack) have a seed feeder, and still they eat paint off my window sill :))
  19. Shouldn't the thread title be "FOUND" not "LOST"??
  20. Can anyone explain why a blue tit would peck at paint on my bathroom window sill? I thought there might be insects there, but it (and other birds) appear to be actually stripping the paint :-S And they are well provided for with peanuts and fat balls, as well! Also - something has made off with a whole net of birdseed which was hanging on a branch - plus the metal hook it was hanging from!! Surely a squirrel couldn't do that?? It's all completely disappeared! :-S
  21. One got a starling in my garden last year.
  22. Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think in the scheme of things, it's more likely > to have been an actual, living cat rather than a > ghost. Wouldn't you say?! xxxxxx No, because there's no way it could have got in. The cat who came in later came in through the back door when it was open. I don't leave doors open in the middle of the night!!
  23. steveo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Another decent thread hijacked xxxxxx OK I'll de-hihack it. Though have had a good laugh :)) I had a ghost cat in my bedroom for a while, though it seems to have gone now. Will that do? Edited to say: It jumped on my bed in the middle of the night in that way that cats do and then walked over me/the quilt. No I wasn't dreaming. It scritchy-scratchied in the corner of the room quite often. One day a cat wandered in from outside, went straight up to my bedroom, straight to that corner, then shot out of the house again. Spooky or what?? This was a few years back, haven't felt or heard it since.

I still look at it.
  25. Have a thoroughly well deserved break, and thanks so much for all your hard work. But, er, what's "cookwank"? Did I miss something? My mind is boggling ...... :-$
