  1. You say that this post should be considered as a complaint. I am afraid that it won't be. You need to write directly to the council and sign the communication with your own name.
  2. I think that the value of one unit of social housing in a luxury block is so great that taking the money and building real social housing elsewhere with it, can be a preferable option.
  3. Go down to the sorting office and ask for it. I did this. I didn't get much but thereafter I have received post 3 or 4 times per week
  4. I think that the flood that is meant to be alleviated would be in Rye Lane. The aim is to keep the water in the park and release it slowly so that land closer to the Thames is not inundated
  5. A bund is just a raised band of earth. Looks like one in the SW corner to me, assuming i've got my compass the right way up
  6. any solicitor can do it. You need certified copies of all sorts of things to "prove" wills. Cost me about £5 per copy
  7. but GPs have your medical records. Perhaps by "self diagnosis" you meant that you recognised the pain.

    Ageism

Might be. How old are you and what are you applying for?
  9. A starter-free method is to make normal dough, let it rise and then put some aside. Make the remainder into normal bread. Then takethe set-aside dough, add more flour and water but no more yeast, let it rise, set a bit aside and make bread with the remainder. Repeat. Your starter will slowly sour from wild yeasts in your kitchen. I did it this way.
  10. Ayres in Nunhead used to sell it
  11. Beauticians can do it. Anyone can. Currently unregulated. It's a neurotoxin which is slowly absorbed by the body https://www.gov.uk/government/news/government-to-crack-down-on-unregulated-cosmetic-procedures
  12. I am surprised to see that the list includes shingles. You need a prescription from the pharmacist. So, a chat, diagnosis and warnings from the pharmacist and then the prescription.
  13. The other use of keylock safes that I am aware of is Airbnb. The person renting out the property puts the key in such a safe and the incoming tenant has the code so they can get in and get the key. If you find it locked against you, I should immediately remove it or get it removed.
  14. https://www.samuels-solicitors.co.uk/news/right-to-view There is no legal right to a view. This applies both here and at the Aylsham Centre vis a vis the view from the top of the car park
  15. https://www.sra.org.uk/consumers/register/organisation/?sraNumber=70939#collapseLeo nothing registered against them. Another office in Hemel Hempstead.
  16. Krystals are great. Post Office there too (usually a queue). I had both done as a "walk-in".
  17. We have a shared drain and TW was responsible for fixing it when it was blocked. It was hard to get them to do accept their responsibilities but they did in the end
  18. Try the RSPCA for help
  19. Just what I was thinking. See you in the queue at 8am
  20. I think you are right re Southwark https://www.southwark.gov.uk/parking/disabled-parking/parking-with-a-blue-badge
  21. I went in the Peckham Office yesterday (same problem) i was missing about two weeks of post including this important letter. Opening hours greatly reduced. 8-10 only. I tried to pick up my missing post. Woman on the desk told me she would give me what she could find (!). She gave me "what had been sorted" ie two letters including one sent that day. The rest, she implied was unsorted. No staff to sort it or deliver it.
  22. Report it yourself. If you have evidence of misbehaviour involving children, you should report it to the police.
