I think i know what Dita means about prawns. If you think of the really tiny ones all curled up and not those huge ones you can skewer for the BBQ.

Ha -these stories are doing a great job of putting me off many more things. I'm soooooo relieved I don't like prawns. Ratatouille (which I used to eat a lot in my younger, veggie days) was off the menu after someone asked 'You DO know what they make that from, don't you?" :(

Yes, that too Mockney :(

It is indeed.

Well hello there maxxi - have you seen my "exciting" thread about not liking brussels sprouts anymore yet?
-
I like brussels sprouts. One of my friends hates them and calls them 'budgie heads'. Ewwww. Really puts me off them now. Anyone else been put off something for no good reason? (Sorry if this thread sounds like crap from a "women's magazine". Feel free to PM me with funny stories about your pet if you like. And some recipes. )

Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Gowlett > > Nothing compares. > > Is it uncool to have the pineapple one? What Mick Mac said. American Hot for me (and I admit I used to add pineapple but now go a step further into madness and replace the meat with pineapple as I prefer it with chilli oil). Tried the SLA place only once and thought both pizza and service were good. Would def go back. Now Mr Ben made me laugh out loud re: fur coat, no knickers. Whilst I enjoyed the pizza in the earlier days of the Actress, I'm sad to say that the last pizza I ordered there was not very tasty at all and it went cold really quickly. Maybe that was a one-off bit of bad luck but I'll likely order anything but pizza next time I'm there. Peckham for pizza B)

New nexus is not a banned member. This thread has nothing to do with the one in the DR, haven't you moved on from that by now? No-one is trying to get anyone banned, just commenting on how similar your posts are and apologies have been given for any offence caused if not. The forum is a boring place if all views are the same but ....this thread....awful. As SJ said, accuse away... .... and pass the butter please. Someone.

I was being perfectly honest. You have the same posting style as NN - iin my opinion. Again, apologies to you (both) if I'm mistaken. Meeting someone in person doesn't prove anything either. > @Hugo - I'm not Rick Channing either. That was patently obvious.

UDT - I only said what I thought, however, please accept my sincere apologies if you aren't also the poster NN. As an aside, I don't quite see what Laddy Muck has to do with the price of jam but at least it made me smile.

I distinctly remember someone at curry club seemed to be very knowledgable about beach volleyball*, specifically about the exact length of shortness that their shorts must be. Either that or it was a wind-up as I'm a bit gullible. *and cricket.

Yeah yeah, you have got to be joking LM!!!! Sorry but that pan looks like its just out of the shop. With a few black toast crumbs thrown in for good measure. Either that or you've been doing a lot of scrubbing. Its practically pristine. (I am comparing it with one that I inherited that has probably been through two world wars though). But even so...

Srisky - I think it depends where you go but at my last dental practice they would not keep patients on their books if they hadn't kept up to date with yearly or six monthly (cannot remember now!) dental hygienist appointments. But maybe some places (as in your case) have a requirement for new patients to go along if they haven't been to a dentist for a while.

81) Wonders if its only me who thinks of risotto when people say 'Carnelli'. 95) Editing your post to a . will guarantee to raise a few eyebrows. Especially if its done sooner rather than later. And no, I'm not going to do it.

I understood that this area does (or at least it used to) have a large Irish population. Like Kilburn and Cricklewood are (or were). Only from what my friend had said to me about ED and he's lived here for 25 years. He was a newcomer from oop north back then so what does he know?! :)

I didn't finish my previous post due to laughter. Did you say another rude word? *refers self to maxxi's rule 19.1. etc*

Please stop.

:)) I tried. And failed miserably... Wonder whether LM is busy 'scrubbing' away as we type... :-S
