Hopefully not any of those 'athletes' we saw hopping on the 12 around the corner from the Plough... We later met a handsome, smartly-dressed gentleman in a hat walking past 'homemade'; he claimed to be the runner-up! Results and photos please...

  6. different amounts of xxxxxxx's mean different things. there are also different meanings if you put xoxoxoxoxoxo or -x- its a secret code that only girls know about, I'm afraid. k 'xx'

W-ell my decision is only based on this weekend so my scoring system is not exactly scientific. spending more time enjoying being at home in ED on Sat is way better* (I'm easily pleased) .... *than going out with the team on Fri and talking about work all eve (zzzzzz)
  8. I've changed my mind - Saturday nights are definitely BEST :)
  9. Yeah... Hey Ernie, where are you? *Bert* has registered and wants to know if you obsess about small things like everyone else (in ED) seems to...

Otherwise, people will never believe you when you say "its for my friend".

Just like everyone else does. I'm > not sure what you're getting all worked up about. Damn right. I have no idea what everyone is getting worked up about either. It's obvious that the vulgar and expensive cars should go in the garage. Any other boringsville cars they own can be left on the street where they belong. Really.

Please could you clarify...your friend Burt, yes? Or your room-mate, Bert? *obsesses about words and letters*
  13. W-ell Woof, What time is this? Oh...I would have to choose the spleen* *now I know its function and partial to mine after it was almost taken by spleen-removers-R-Us-@HammersmithHospital

  15. PS. It didn't work for Calvin tho - all the duplicates he'd created (unsurprisingly) didn't fancy doing his homework whilst he had fun so they got him into even more mischief....suspect yours would prefer a fabulous afternoon off too! *back to the drawing board*
  16. You need a transmogrifier, calvin & hobbes style, then your duplicate can do the work whilst you have a fabulous afternoon off! *not at work*
  17. you know the D to the V to the LA... :))
  18. around the exmouth market/ farringdon road area, there are plenty restaurants and bars you can try, a lot have outdoor seating where you can soak up the atmosphere (the italian places are fab in that area) (tu)

  20. A 24-hour drive-thru 'Fireworks-R-Us'? For all those people who simply must "celebrate" whatever the occasion, whatever the time....yeah, right.

Unless they are doing it indoors in a tray, in which case they will take a herculean amount of time and effort to bury it...and the litter ends up all over the floor. Our cats always got into fights where we used to live, of course they were innocent and it was all down to the resident bully (Oscar*) who lived a few doors away. Apart from archery practice and significant investment in high tech water pistols, didn't really know what else to do about it. *name not changed for legal reasons.
  22. Don't disagree with anyone's right to protest. However, I'm of the same opinion of DJ that its become an eyesore and will be nice to see the greenery of the square again; their prolonged presence isn't changing anything. I'm not talking about it anymore ;-)

Olu Deniz apparently too commercial (you can't get a proper Turkish tea...), too many Brits (!) and not relaxing at all. good luck

I have just worked out what SO stands for (I'm better at TLA's btw). Anyway, this made me laugh, my ex-boss from years ago used to complain about being 'harrassed' by an american "co-worker" who regularly invited him around to her house to workout to a video* with this very name.... > I think I'll write a piece for The Lancet. > How does 'Having a Bit of a Chest in the Licensed > Victuallers Racket' sound as a title? 25. Phew...thank goodness you didn't let slip that its really a 6'3, bored Dutchman from the Hague - working in insurance - that's been posting on here ::o
