I think thats a FAB idea. Could I please have some VIP tickets for the head/hat-eating event? I hope the humble frozen pea can be found in ED if thats what you're raising the money for ;-)

hahahaha very funny Jedi? the Force? Young? *no comprendo*

I hear there's a Tandoori chicken cook off...honestly no one'll notice the difference! *rings EDF Recipe Police, reports self* LM - book was written by a couple of Australian women... HAL - not heard the dialogue but I read it in my Tony Soprano voice anyway, hope that's alright! :))

HonaloochieLetter. Quite right. Wouldn't dream of it. So ssssshhhh, but between us I bet I'd be right in saying that Stan watched 'Fawlty Towers' in the cellar. All 12 episodes! Was talking to Chee Chee about changing my name. Big Paulie and Jimmy the Weasel weren't happy about it. Shame as I think Lucky Boo Boo has a certain charm.

No sugar or honey, though. So sue me hal9000 ;) *adopts tony soprano accent PS. Lady TaTa - hope the recipes work out!

Well it seems they got away with it....

...and there was me thinking they've managed to do that perfectly well all by themselves. In answer to the original (good) question, I agree with Hal's interpretation on the first post of this thread. -
Mix yoghurt with chilli sauce, grated lime zest, lime juice, allspice, salt & pepper, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, mustard, sugar and oil. Add chicken fillets and marinate for at least an hour. Bake chicken in preheated oven for 50 mins or so. Turn at least once. Finally, brown them under a preheated grill for about 2 mins. Can't guarantee its authenticity tho, I copied it from a caribbean cookbook that happened to be within arms reach as I read your post :)

Doreen's a good sort and no mistakin'... although I get the feeling that Stan spends rather a lot of time 'attending to things' in the cellar*. Perhaps more time than is strictly necessary. *this seemingly functions in a similar way to men and sheds, no?
-
I can't imagine Doreen and Stan obliging, no, I didn't really say that....did I? Oh....
-
I think I can picture Doreen and Stan, she is welcoming but won't stand for any nonsense. Stan is efficient but can be a tad slow in the execution of his duties. Salt of the earth types the pair of them... Definitely hold the whisky/whiskey, the blandford ale is already alcoholic and I wouldn't like to cause any extra work....though saying that, a snack would be nice ;)
-
Oh a chilled glass of ginger ale, Blandford Fly if you please, would be very welcome at the moment, cheers!:)-D

it was lovely to meet you all - thanks so much for organising it daizie (tu) k xx :)-D

W-ell, I wouldn't go that far...pineapple juice is slightly bearable if you mix it with fresh lime juice and a quart of finest jamaican rum.

Dulwich Gardening - Gardening Tips for July

Anyone know where I can buy horseradish seeds locally (ish)? thanks -

I am not getting any of the numbness thankfully ;) I cannot remember how much of my foot touches the ground - I spend my time at the traffic lights trying to sort my hair out (joking). Will test it out tomorrow!

Ladymuck - thank you SO much. I think you may be right. The guys at the shop lowered it for me as I was making a complete prat of myself when I first got it ( I thought it was too high for me as the frame is 17" which is slightly bigger than my old bike was...) Had no idea that might be the cause! Thanks xx

I need to know the cure for painful knees after cycling. This is a serious request btw. Anyone got any useful tips?* *yes yes, get the bus etc etc..

We've agreed to meet from 1pm onwards, exact spot to be confirmed nearer the time. Anyone that wants to and can make it along on that date is very welcome. That includes golf obsessed headcases too. As far as I know, I haven't yet* met anyone who has is coming along to this so please don't feel you have to know people already :)) *ok, one lady who is good at backgammon.

Oooh you rotter mentioning scic (non-tm, as I'm currently tm- free) when I'm nowhere nearby. Enjoy..... Btw, select the 'highlighter tool' and apply it to the top secret text below: *whispers back, see secrets safe with me* :)

I have a forum-wallah. Honestly, does anyone really believe I type this stuff myself? And no Ted, this heat will never cease. Frightfully uncomfortable it is too.
