  1. Sophiesofa, no it's not particularly safe - use cold water not hot. Here's a useful site: Thawing Options
  2. What the fuck are you on about, Iaineasy?
  3. Still curious to know what product format means!
  4. Just to set the record straight, CofE are not allowed to be charities.
  5. Ted, you're so right. Bet they're responsible for defrosting chickens in hot water too.
  6. Not I, Jah. When I was a nipper, he was my hero. (Not many other redheads with national status).
  7. Dear Nigee, as any phoneticist would tell you, Millwall fans would chant: "Oo are ya?".

  16. Good Golly Miss Molly - Little Richard
  17. I think the horses are treated well. The night I was there one of them obviously had a stiff off hind leg, but he was confined to a few full circuits and then taken out while the others did lots of tight turning displays. They are superbly trained if even the Ringmaster (not a natural) can get them performing. And it seems to be on a reward based system - the whip never touches them.
  18. Dissever Appears in Porphyria's Lover and means to separate; divide into parts. [Note to self - don't read daughter's homework and cobble an answer.]
  19. Started to do it. No idea what product format means.
  20. Queen dulwichmum of course.
  21. But DulwichMum goes to Nicky, he'd never let her roots show.
  22. I was in that situation. Fortunately my neighbours agreed that I could keep the pram (collapsed) in the hall. Could you have a word with yours?
  23. My snout reliably informs me that tonight's Celebrity Come Dine with me has a shot of Mo (Eastenders) in Pretty Traditional.
