    My daughter is 17. She and her friends love Threads in Bellenden Rd. I've bought her a gift token from there before (hand written - nothing fancy). It seems secondhand/vintage is really cool.

    Crows are principally carrion eaters, but I have seen them take live ducklings in Peckham Rye. They have also attacked a dog I walked when he got too near the fledglings.

    Last time a torch was run through the streets of Peckham, I was looking forward to a big sports name. Floella Benjamin did the honours. I'd rather have had Big Ted.

    We toured a few houses today. Great fun and some lovely work but it does feel a bit odd going into someone's private home.

    Oh tush, maxxi. You must be a Philistine if you don't see the beauty and breathless wonder a description of cranes. I suppose the answer is to fine (money or runs) if the over rate is slow, but that would be rather tacky.
