  1. Zulu. Hot dead people.
  2. Better clear the roads - DulwichMum coming through!
  3. Just for MP: http://www.tapestry-kits.com/bayeux_tapestry.jpg
  4. Sometimes this Forum is priceless! Thanks Admin.
  5. The sponsor ads are truly annoying. I understand they want placement for their money, but perhaps they could be laid out horizontally rather than vertically?
  6. How wonderful. Congratulations Moos Family.
  7. I'm bored.
  8. Sounds good to me.
  9. Quids, don't force me to use our most eloquent chant: We 'ate West Ham and we 'ate West Ham We 'ate West Ham and we 'ate West Ham We 'ate West Ham and we 'ate West Ham We are the West Ham 'aters.
  10. I think some of the problems at these lights come with the fact that some people don't know that if you are turning right, eg, ED Road into Rye Lane, you can enter the box and wait. Instead they hover at the edge of the box and then race over when the lights turn red, almost causing pile-ups. Some of the probs are people making illegal right turns from n.Rye Lane into ED Road - I suppose cameras at the junction would solve this one.
  11. Perhaps you meant this one, Quids? He was only a poor little hammer, His face all tattered and torn, He made me feel sick, So I hit 'im with a brick, And now he don't sing anymore. Moflo, Roy Green wrote the original lyrics to the one above - perhaps you could do some 'googling' and see if there are earlier versions. There is a ska copy hanging around somewhere, not sure how that would go at a funeral!
  12. These are the two most likely you are looking for. The majority of the rest are pretty crude and/or violent. Let 'Em Come It's Saturday on Cold Blow Lane We've all come down to cheer We've had our jellied eels And our glass of beer Come rain or shine all the time Our families we'll bring And as the Lions run on the pitch Everyone will sing Let 'em come, Let 'em come, Let 'em come Let 'em all come down to The Den Let 'em come, Let 'em come, Let 'em come Well only have to beat 'em again Were the best team in London NO, the best team of all Everybody knows us Were called Millwall Let 'em come, Let 'em come, Let 'em come Let 'em all come down to The Den Let 'em all...... come down......... TO THE DEEEENNNNNNN No One Likes Us No one likes us, No one likes us No one likes us, We don't care We are Millwall Super Millwall We are Millwall from The Den
  13. Enough of this sectarian crap. Shake hands and play nicely. PS - the Mash thing was funny. Dodgy referees aren't.
  14. To return to the OP, I think it's commonsense to buy a new copy of the Highway Code every two or three years to reacquaint oneself with the contents. ps: I have noticed an increase in drivers around Peckham/ED driving with their fog lights on. Twats.
  15. Well, in that case, I conducted a rigorous experiment at Peckham Rye today. Reds are definitely this season's colours: crab apples, yew berries, rosehips were in abundance. Poor Hatty will just have to be unfashionable this autumn. BTW, why are yew berries so seductive? I always want to cram a handful into my mouth.
  16. Well I suppose that's a reasonable excuse. Can't wait for The Ashes. Sri Lanka seem to be softening them up nicely. And in order to not subvert this thread, if there is a God/god - do you think a burnt offering appropriate?
  17. Am I imagining it, or are the holly berries particularly abundant this year? Don't know what that portends - probably six foot snowdrifts.
  18. I have a theory Brendan. You are not posting enough. Blanket-bomb the Forum and we won't notice the dodgy ones. [surely Fatherhood is not that demanding? What are wives for?]
  19. I think I'm gorgeous, therefore I am
  20. I blame Cheeta.
  21. This is too much fun. I can't wait for Mr Carnell to wake up. Here's what I'm pretty sure he'd say: "An Italian? Really? I've said this before, but I'll keep saying it till I'm blue in the face. We HAVE Italians. Lots. Il Mirto - Melbourne Grove Si Magia - Forest Hill Road Case Smerelda - towards Nunhead Il Giardino - opposite Peckham Rye station Locale - East Dulwich Road The Gowlett and the Actress do pizzas There is another new Italian opening on Bellenden Road. AND, to top it off, the two things you've suggested....Bella Pasta and Zizzis....are NOT Italians. They serve some vague approximation of cod-Italian pre-cooked, packet sauce slop. The have about as much relation to Italian food as a horse and cart to a Ferrari. Please, stop it now before I explode in a mess of puttanesca sauce!"
  22. Completely wrong. Harrison was my crush which led on to a love of guitarists generally. Laine studied flamenco which gave him a certain je ne sais quoi, but never a pash.
