  2. To wander is the miller's joy!
  3. Fabulous Ice Fires' hazelnut. There - you can close the thread now.
  4. No. Only Captain Kirk can wear trousers four inches off the shoe.
  5. That's the one. Gosh, you are all adventurous. Just going to the Southbank leaves me giddy.
  6. Pasta dishes are meant as a starter, or primo so they wouldn't be as big as a main dish.
  7. Streatham has good selection of shops - cheap last time I went in. Ramsgate has the best/cheapest options.
  8. I'll hold my hands up to red wine, but I don't think the rest of the epithets fit me.
  9. "I do not think he realises that women do not like his advances." If it is the person I think it is (name begins with B), then he has been told repeatedly that this behaviour is unacceptable - and I am going back over 10 years. He was banned from a community space because of it. It is assault and it should be dealt with by the police.
  10. Well that's the first I've heard of it in Adys Road and my car is currently parked in Muschamp Rd. Am I not invited? Do I need to shift my car if I don't want to be blocked in?
  11. No, but I vaguely remember James Nesbitt twirling a stick in some film.
  12. Definitely the geegees. The '12th' didn't resonate with me at all - I had to look it up!
  13. Would that be the glorious twelfth? Don't get your Tayto's in a twist - it's just for a friend who is threatening to move to Tullamore. Obviously, with a Morrisons in every town, she doesn't have to now. [ps, did you know the Byerley Turk was ridden in the BofB? I guess something good came out of it!]
  14. Shh, RD! Don't tell the Irish that it's orange. Mission accomplished: all hail to Morrisons.
  15. Need to get some tomorrow. Sainsburys online doesn't stock it but does the store? Thanks.
  16. No. The thing for after swimming in the Esplanade pool in Rochester, was hot Bovril and digestive biscuits. And Sandwich Spread is one of my five-a-day.
  17. Found in Peckham Rye Park 2 x brass HD keys on gold/pink/diamante fob. Park office not open so have hung them from office door handle.
  18. If Hawkwind were playing, I would have been straight there.
  19. I think we can safely cast our clouts. The hawthorn blossom on ED Road is beautiful.
  20. Oh James, sorry to hear this. You were never my councillor but did sterling work. Thank you for your commitment to East Dulwich. PGC
