The new Nunhead / Dulwich park green chain extension takes in the Camberwell old and new cemeteries and Nunhead too. I didnt realise there was that beautiful chapel in Nunhead cemetery. -

I like the scene in Mad Max where Mel hands over the hacksaw to the guy he has handcuffed to the ready to explode car. 10 minutes to hack through the chain. 5 minutes to hack through your arm. Your choice. Mel. What a man.

Advice - solo walking holiday - somewhere warm

I'd recommend La Gomera. I went in March and it was lovely and warm and the hiking is spectacular. Its very un-touristy and you can walk and not see anyone for hours. A full circumnavigation of the island would be a great challenge. -
