Keef - Not sure I agree with your point of view that as he didn't get her drunk, then it wouldn't be rape if she consented but regretted it afterwards (and he had done nothing to mess with her head), compared to if he got her drunk himself.... It sort of (and I am not implying it should) gives an excuse to anyone who commits date rape, or any dodgy taxi driver who may well claim, "I didn't get her drunk and she did consented to sex in a lonly dark car park because she was drunk (Subtext 'but can't remember if she did or didn't consent because she was drunk at the time')" Not sure I support your view or ethics on this one.
