  1. It's quite fashionable to have a go at DulwichFox isn't it? You think you'll become more popular on the forum by doing so? You are wrong. Or maybe you think it worked before with Louisa, keep it up and he'll leave too. Also wrong. Foxy has got more sense than to take any notice of all the crap posts. He'll carry on giving advice, carry on being negative (as well as being occasionally positive!), carry on adding some humour and most people will enjoy reading his posts.

  3. If you're looking for another vegan/vegetarian place, try this: http://www.thecoachandhorsessoho.co.uk/ It's London's first veggie pub and in Greek Street, Soho. They have a dining room upstairs. I went there twice last year. The fishless fish & chips is really good.
  4. The Last Of The Mohicans is one of my fave films. Everytime it's on, I can't resist watching it again. DDL excels, the chemistry between him & Madeleine Stowe is great and the theme music is outstanding.
  5. Tradesman32, If you frequented the lounge more often you would realise the majority of regulars have a sense of humour. And their posts are humorous but no malice is intended.
  6. When I got my first smart phone (ages ago), I remember looking at the option my bank offered but decided not to go with it. Instead I went with my network (O2) and paid about ?7 per month. If you have a contract and lose or break the phone, you still have to pay for it for the next one/two years until it expires so I think it's important to be covered. Last year I upgraded to my latest smart phone only to find that O2 and most of the other networks only offer insurance against loss but not against the phone going wrong or getting broken anymore. I posted on here for recommendations. In the end I spent hours on-line looking at all the different mobile phone insurance companies and what they offered. The majority didn't give new for new or cover loss. Luckily I found one that does both. I've not needed to claim but it's peace of mind, knowing I'm covered. The phone would be really expensive to replace if anything happens to it before it's paid for in 18 months. I can't remember the company's name off hand but it costs ?7.99 per month. I also use a screen protector and gel case which are very good to have.
  7. Good on you LadyG! You're pulling away. I can see you mean business :)
  8. Well done Otta. The Scandinavian connection is surname and the Shakespeare, she was in Romeo & Juliet before Homeland. Your turn.
  9. Her latest role in a TV series has won her many awards and Golden Globes
  10. I agree with Otta. It's not the same without the missing ones. Couldn't you have spent your time in the lounge with the regulars Louisa? Only suggesting it because we all get your sense of humour and understand the meaning of your posts. Elsewhere on the forum, more likely they don't have a clue what you are talking about, take every comment far too seriously and get offended when there is no reason to. Anyway, I hope you have second thoughts and decide to stay.
  11. Well done. I nearly always do Palace to win but backed out of it this time & went for a draw. And I predicted a Newcastle win. Not a very good week for me.
  12. Foxes crap in mine too!
  13. Red Hot Chili Peppers vs Hot Tuna pizza
  14. Afraid not. Right colour hair though!
  15. This actress also has a connection with William Shakespeare
  16. keekybreeks Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > where are the usual suspects to come up with their > own particular brand of rib tickling fascism here > ? They are probably bored with repeating themselves over and over again on threads like this. I've posted once on this one and that's as far as I'm going to go. Everybody knows my views so I have no need to participate on similar topics every time a new thread appears. Also, most of the posters I interact with regularly on here are meat eaters and have different views to me. I have no intention of getting into heated debates or arguments with any of them so I rarely contribute to these threads anymore. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and if it's different to mine, so be it.
  17. Not many people play this game but I'm sure the ones that do will be quite happy to think of actors & actresses after years of trying to think of characters! It's really up to the one setting the clues what they prefer to do. I just edited the one above to make it a bit easier....
  18. First clue: This actress has a connection with Scandinavia
  19. I quite like your idea of having an actor rather than a character. I've done so many characters that I've run out of ideas so I think actors etc are fine providing we say so beforehand. I'll be back later when I've thought of one.
  20. Cary Grant?
  21. You could always watch 'Banished' on your own?! I'm enjoying it & can put up with watching lashings etc when it's good drama. As for 'The Walking Dead', your'll be overtaking me at this rate! Isn't it just so addictive?
  22. Vin Diesel?
  23. I was aware that you knew the answer RD. Just thought that you didn't have time to take a turn. I'm a bit surprised that nobody is watching this really good series (and Sgt Timmins is quite a sweet character considering!) Thanks for stepping in. I had run out of clues :)
  24. It doesn't look like anyone is playing anymore. I'll post a final clue though just to finish off: He's a Sergeant
