  1. Life imprisonment is the best punishment for the worst offenders. Not 15 years, life. I don't think I could ever approve of the death penalty.
  2. If you didn't get on with the S4, what's the point of trying the S5? I quite liked my S2 but never adored it. Like I said, I have the LG G3 which to me is the best phone ever. And it also has a massive screen so is great for watching TV. No idea about HTC but there are some on here that recommend it. Guess you will have to look for opinions on-line then go with your intuition. Good luck.
  3. I wasn't. It was the only correct prediction I had all day :)
  4. My advice is to Google both makes reviews and you will find lots of different opinions and find it easier to make your mind up. Personally, I was never keen on HTC. My Samsung galaxy S2 was fab apart from the fact that Samsung products are quite complex and more difficult to use. I now have a LG G3 instead and it works like a dream. My best friend!

  6. Fond memories? Such fun? Rubbish! Talking of shoes..........You would have been shaking in yours. ;-)
  7. Everyone is getting so uptight but did your vote actually count? Peckham/Camberwell, Dulwich/W.Norwood were safe seats so no, because we voted for Labour and still lost. It just shows how well this voting system works.:( And that people living in this area are not being treated too well by the government.
  8. Yes I probably did. It was my only chance of ever being photographed with the elite!
  9. As you know I haven't been lately so wasn't too aware of his bad boy behaviour. Just remember back then in season ticket days. It was one of those open days. I got autographs from the whole team and even had some photos taken with players. Can't remember who!

Don't find the majority even funny but if I had to pick one? Julian Clary. So clever because the humour comes naturally. And Paul O'Grady? One of the kindest, sweetest guys on TV who always puts animals first. Lovely person.
  11. I'm so sick of reading all this sh*t on here, just rubbing salt in the wound. What does it matter anyway? Knowing why it happened, what we should've done to stop it happening, what we should do next time........It's too late! So why even argue about who should have won? I could do that all night but what difference does mine or anyone elses opinion make now? All I will say is that those who voted Tory because their lives will be enriched by them - Congratulations. So pleased for you (but do think of others). And those that voted elsewhere because their lives are bound to get worse.............Really hope you keep your jobs, life eventually gets better and you survive x

They don't give a sh*t about foxes either but the League Against Cruel Sports are not going to give up without a fight. Have faith in them.

I was just making conversation. What was I thinking?
  14. Even Alan Dunne can't hack another visit to League One. I remember getting his autograph many years ago. I thought he would be at The Den forever.
  15. Just make sure there isn't a picture of a turkey on my card :) Keeky, What music DO you actually like? Indie? Rock? Kylie Minogue?
  16. The Beatles? Really?!
  17. se22cat Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Foxy, we all re-registered on-line a good while > back; called the council who said "they are a bit > late". I read something on-line recently saying I had to re-register. So I did. Then I received a message saying that although I had re-registered, I didn't need to because I was already registered. My daughter didn't see anything so she didn't re-register. A couple of weeks ago we both received our polling cards.

So true. Last time some Harriet Harman reps did at least knock on the door pre-election, asking people to display posters, support them etc. This time, no-one except an independent. Nothing from any of the main parties. It's been so quiet, you wouldn't even know there was an election going on. It's such a safe seat that they don't need to bother. Which is fine by me because I vote for them anyway, but if I didn't, I wouldn't see the point in voting.
  19. They didn't beat Chelsea!!
  20. Is it the 'my yahoo' homepage you are referring to? If so, I know you can't get the old one back because all they have now is the upgraded boring one.
  21. In that case, he is in the wrong but the comment 'only a nap' says it all. A lot of men can nap on and off all day and think nothing of having another one. It's not so easy for women. Once they are woken up, they find it difficult to sleep again. That's my opinion anyway & if he did it to me I'd be annoyed.
  22. Oh dear. Famous last words. I think I put a jinx on it! I did think that Chelsea might choke and Palace could take advantage. It was only one goal though. Did anyone see it? Did Palace put up a good fight and try to earn me some points?!
  23. The batter does. But tofu? No, because it isn't fish!
  24. It's ok. I'll PM you as it's nothing to do with cycling.
