You aren't allowed to sell kittens on here KB, so if you draw attention to it, what do you think is going to happen? I know you don't agree but selling them is a lot better than drowning them.

Loz, it's not junk mail. I've used the Nunhead Streetlife forum in the past when looking for recommendations. When you asked for help , I actually went on there and typed in the place where you live because if it was active I was going to tell you to go on there & try to get some of the members interested. There wasn't an active one in your area though, only the Hampshire one.

If you are referring to yourself Quids (I'm sure you are), why don't you do something about it? The deserters and infrequent posters are probably bored at seeing nothing worth commenting on. And instead of complaining that posts are a tedious load of drivel, bear in mind that at least we are starting threads in order to pass the time and have people to talk to. So it would be good if you could encourage the regulars to post more often by doing what you do best, start some interesting threads!

I thought the singer (calum) was the best tonight. The little girl with the sword was quite entertaining.

Streetlife isn't new. It's been going for over a year and there are groups all over the country. I have looked on the Nunhead one in the past. It's handy for recommendations etc. and always appears to be quite busy.

P.s. I'm not saying it's cruel because I don't know enough about it. If the dog is suffering, the RSPCA would have stopped them performing. All I'm saying is that it's a fake act. The dog is just sitting there (hopefully happy, but looks p*ssed off) and the guy is just another ventriloquist. Whereas the dogs on Tues were talented, so well trained and you could see they were happy, enjoying themselves.

After their first appearance, there was controversy as animal welfare charities were looking into claims of cruelty because of the mask. Just Google it if you want to know why you shouldn't vote for them. As for voting, won't be doing it tonight. Nothing grabbed me.

BGT over the EDT? I'm shocked Foxy! I haven't been watching the series either. I hate all the rubbish so only watch the semi's when it's mostly good. Did UDI nearly go out just now? Unbelievable! Justice was done.

You can either admit to watching this willingly or blame your other half for making you suffer! Either way, opinions would be good (and it's only once a year). Loved the Welsh choir & the dogs so far. Adore the light dance group UDI tonight but standard hasn't been so good this year. Time will tell.

No Loz, it wasn't. My first post was asking for opinions because I wanted some advice on who those people should vote for. Like I said, some of us really don't know what to do for the best, so we read your posts and haven't a clue what you are talking about so are none the wiser. I voted Labour as usual, never made a secret of it, yet some regulars on here say it's the worse thing to do ever. And you know what? I still have no idea why. Don't bother explaining. It's irrelevant now anyway. I can wait 5 years.

I did mean you Loz (but others too) I must have missed your ages ago 'usually vote' post. Irrelevant now. I did ask for advice on the election thread, but you chose humour over a sensible reply. And it would be good if the ones who are so clued up and know so much about politics (like yourself), could help those who don't. (will continue this conversation in 5 years time)

It's really interesting how you find out things after the event, but might have been better finding out before? I'm referring to Otta's post and the fact that he didn't know who regular posters were voting for. Neither did I, but the posters whose opinions matter to me (most don't), have waited this long to even reveal that, even after posting continuously on the election thread & revealing nothing. It might have been nice to get some advice or at least find out why they didn't agree with me. And I might have PM'd them (so as not to look stupid) if I had any idea who they were voting for. But because I didn't know, I didn't dare!

P.s. I even thought the Hammers could manage a draw maxxi. They let me down too!

Not as heartbroken as me JL. Final week & my teams let me down. And I predicted Everton to beat Spurs! And Swans to beat Palace and Utd to beat Hull and L'Pool to beat Stoke.........etc.etc. At least Chelsea won!

I think that a lot of the older generation do not even know that using the word 'coloured' is outdated. When I was growing up, if I called somebody black, I got such a telling off because it was only polite to use the word coloured. All these years have gone by and my elderly parents still think exactly the same. If they call somebody coloured, they think they are being polite rather than offending by calling them black. And I have told them what is acceptable these days and what isn't, but they will never change. They are not racist or ignorant, they are just elderly, so set in their ways and still try and go out of their way to be polite to everyone.

I said in my first post that I was worried about Sweden & Italy and they both finished in the top 3 with Russia! Well done for picking the winner Loz. And it was nice to have your company throughout the programme ;-)
