  1. I forgot about foxes! Not so keen on cats though.
  2. Vegetarian bacon Millwall FC Peckham
  3. All I'm saying is that if a woman is drunk but consents & the guy isn't sober either, chances are he will take notice of what she says regardless. He will just hear a 'yes' and as others have pointed out, there are loads of different levels of intoxication based on a persons ability to tolerate alcohol.

  5. Otta, I said if she consents but then passes out after she's participated. And in all honesty, what is the difference between passing out and falling asleep? Maybe this is the problem I'm having with the Ched Evans case. If the woman was THAT drunk, how did she even remember what happened? There is a very fine line between consenting while under the influence of alcohol and waking up stone cold sober.
  6. So if a woman is drunk, so drunk that she is having trouble standing up but is still able to speak, then consents to sex, then passes out afterwards, has no recollection the next day............... Is the man guilty of rape?
  7. Congrats. My predictions are pants this year.

Like I said in my previous posts, the fact that he still maintains that he did nothing wrong, he still thinks he hasn't. What if she did agree to it? How does anyone really know what went on in that room? I just think all this has got a bit ridiculous. It just seems to have become an obsession by almost everybody to keep him out of football. If he was a bus driver/dustman he would have been allowed back after he served his time. I was reading something in the paper today about Lee Hughes and Luke McCormick, both footballers. One killed two children while drink-driving, the other killed someone through dangerous driving. Both served their sentences and then returned to their jobs, as football players. The report says that "Rape is a terrible crime but so too is the taking of innocent lives. Evans, a court has ruled did wrong. But surely he deserves the same chance as Hughes and McCormick to return to his job" I'm inclined to agree. *hides*
  9. I don't put dog poo in my green bin. I either use the dog bin opposite my house or if it's full (which it often is), the black public litter bins. If I had cats & litter trays I'd probably do the same thing. Tip the whole lot into a bag and use the closest public bin.
  10. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Based on what AqM? I never said he didn't do anything wrong. I said pretty much the same as you, that he didn't think he had done anything wrong & was trying to clear his name. I read a few reports about it. And although he was guilty, I'm still not 100%. I wasn't there.
  11. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No. Buy a jury has heard the evidence and found > him guilty. I know that. All I'm saying is that as far as he's concerned he's done nothing wrong & is trying to clear his name.
  12. You said 'if' she was unconscious. Do we know that she actually was or just very drunk? Because it does make a difference. Maybe that's why he doesn't think he's done anything wrong because he just thought she was drunk and consenting. We weren't there so don't really know.

Someone fetch Louisa... Called to account for what?! Does it really matter who is in a clique and who isn't? Why do you feel the need to make such a deal out of something that isn't of major importance?
  16. Don't fret Otta. You're in my clique. It's only for the chosen few. You know who you are ;-)
  17. The Cherry Tree will become Wetherspoons The Green Party will remove that idiot Cameron. The Royals will give up shooting because the Greens won't let them do it anymore. X Factor will last all year because too many people are getting withdrawal symptoms. At least 6 EDF posters will re-invent themselves. Silver Treasure will win the Arc @ 66/1 and I'll get knocked for having a bet on it. Have you seen who Millwall may have in the next round Foxy? They will definitely win the cup :)
  18. Shit. I wanted Tony Pulis :(

  20. Hi Dreamcatcher, If it's regarding abnormal smear test results/colposcopy, PM me because I've experienced both (more than once). If it's anything more serious, sorry, can't really help as never experienced this but hopefully you will find lots of help on here. Good luck x
  21. It's not in the main bit of Herne Hill but on the main road between there and Kings. They used to have a happy hour & do 2 for 1 cocktails but not sure what time or whether they still do them.
  22. Not central but Dee Dee's jazz bar, Herne Hill do great reasonably priced cocktails.
  23. Mine was from close to the Ivy House to Queens Road which is probably about the same distance from there to your house so ?6 is about right. I have used the Keane group for years and never even consider anyone else as they have always been reliable and reasonably priced.
  24. I was charged ?9.30 from Nunhead to North Peckham on Boxing Day. They said this was a fare and a half which would make it about ?6.00 normally. I reckon your journey would've been a bit further so maybe it's about right. Guess it depends on the cab company.
