  1. Mark Mcghee was before my time. I was referring to all the managers since around 2005 when I started supporting them. Dennis Wise was in charge then. Apart from KJ, all the rest were rubbish. A long list of about a dozen.

  3. Come on Foxy! It was hardly a surprise. You knew that Millwall weren't doing it for me anymore. Remember mentioning games/scores to me last season and I didn't even know they were playing? As for being for life and in my blood, the only reason I started supporting them in the first place was because they were the first team I saw play 'live' after moving to London. If I'd gone to Selhurst instead, I'd have supported Palace. Chances are, if that was the case I'd have carried on doing so. Last year I was taking more notice of their results than Millwall's! I won't be the only ex-supporter to move on somewhere else. It's very difficult to stay interested in a team that have lost interest themselves, who play crap football and don't even care where they are in the league. And who have had a long string of useless managers (apart from KJ) who haven't a clue how to manage them. Am I right or am I right?

Unless you don't > consider Millwall to be a team. In which case you > could choose anyone, even Dulwich Hamlet. Who says you can't change teams? Anyway, I didn't 'just' change teams. I lost interest in Millwall ages ago. Although I still said I supported them, I was more interested in other teams than I was in them. Half the time I had no idea who they were playing or who played for them. Yet I knew all the Swansea & Everton players. It was years since I went to a match and I had no real desire to do so. What is the point in pretending to support a team when you really don't? When they were relegated it was a good time to admit that another team had stolen my heart :) You can't help how you feel. Better to change teams than go through the season silently supporting the Swans, but saying nothing because I'm 'supposed' to be a Millwall fan.

Top 5 finish. :) You're a bit behind the times AM. I've been making comments on this thread & the predictor one all year about supporting Swansea. Very quietly though, so you obviously missed them. At one time I did like other premier clubs, but after watching Swansea last season, I just fell in love with them and became a big fan. So now you know.........
  6. What a great start. Happy with a point but we should've had 3. Excellent performance.
  7. Priceless.....
  8. Isn't it the general feeling though? They probably didn't tip another club because they can't see it happening. Almost everyone on here went for the same four.
  9. Personally I think it depends where people are getting off. I use buses regularly. If I'm doing a longer journey or getting off at a busy stop, I'll go upstairs to sit down. But if it's a short journey or I'm getting off at a stop that's hardly used, I'll stand as near the doors as possible. Fighting my way through a crowd to get off the bus is stressful and I always worry about the driver closing the door and pulling away before I've even got there.
  10. It's not good to predict a loss for your own team. Isn't it tempting fate/being secretly pleased if they lose so you get your points/annoyed with yourself if they win for not having any faith? I'll be predicting a win for the Swans every week. Even against Chelsea!
  11. I've just PM'd East Dulwich Angst. Hopefully he'll post the details here.
  12. Go back to sleep JL ;-)

  14. No Foxy, it's something completely different. I was just replying to RD. Thanks anyway though.
  15. I didn't think of that! Thanks. I will.
  16. I already tried that, found the pin but it's no longer valid.
  17. What's the pin no. for the league that RC posted?
  18. Haha! Don't we have a date for the FA cup final? We can at least travel together before we go to opposite ends!
  19. Chelsea Arsenal City Utd Swansea Spurs Can't decide who will escape relegation B'mouth, Watford, Villa or N'castle. I'm now officially a Swan, a Jack Army member and raring to go. Bring it on. Top 5 finish. :)
  20. Cheers RD. I'm also aiming to do better this year :)
  21. ISIS? Oh dear. You don't like the fact that I called your post ridiculous, so do you want to argue about it for the rest of the day? Let's just agree to disagree shall we? Before I say something I'll regret. If a person was being burnt alive, they would know how the bull feels. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2232031/Toro-Jubilo-The-grotesque-Spanish-bull-burning-festival-animal-rights-campaigners-want-banned.html
  22. Shooting a fox dead with a gun to protect farm animals is not the same as chasing it for hours with a pack of hounds just to have the pleasure of seeing it ripped apart.
