Cheering a little: France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina & Russia because I have some of their players in my Dream Team. Cheering a lot: Belgium, not only because they also have players in my Dream Team, I have a feeling they are going to do well & have had a bet on them. England because I'm English. Booing: Everybody else.

I reckon most were like me, looking at 3 points til Brazil scored their 3rd goal.

Poor thing :( Can't you put mesh or something on top to stop things falling in?

So glad that an irritable bowel brought Huguenot back! Being veggie myself (not because of, in spite of) I've suffered from IBS for 30 years. Always tolerated gluten ok. The main culprits being excess fibre, excess dairy (the worst) & excess stress.

A lot of terriers are born with the instinct to chase. Personally I would go for a Cavalier King Charles spaniel as they get on with most things & are really laid back.

Agree with Maxxi. Barkley, Lallana, Lambert etc should start. Fresh, young, exciting players who feel so honoured to represent their country for the first time, they will give their all. Rather than relying on the older, experienced players who no longer have anything to prove, gave their all once, but no longer give enough.

Agree. I dread to think how they are going to cope with Italy & Uruguay.

If Madeline really was abducted, of course the parents are partly to blame. They left a 3 year old & two babies unsupervised. It wouldn't have been so bad if they were close enough to be able to see the apartment from where they were dining but they weren't. Anything could have happened & unfortunately it did. I took my daughter to Butlins once when she was 3. We used to spend the evenings watching the entertainment in the clubhouse until she was tired, then went back to the chalet, put her to bed, and put the TV on. We wouldn't ever have dreamed of going back out partying & leaving her on her own. You just don't do that when you have young children.

To even think about poisoning somebody's dogs just because they are making a noise is a bit sick in my opinion. The normal reaction would be to speak to the owner or just leave an anonymous note letting them know that their dogs are causing problems. I think the OP was right to inform the police.
